What kind of ranks are "low kage" or "elite jounin." Did some chump just decide to make up imaginary ranks in the series? I can understand using ranks to state how skilled someone is, but people literally like to create ranks within ranks like it's the new thing in naruto. Here
There's only Kage, Jounin, Chunnin, genin, and student. Categories worth mention are "Tokubetsu Jōnin" and Jōnin Commander but those aren't well known and are only use to give semi important characters and a few fodders a respectable place.
All these imaginary ranks about Hiashi, Chiyo, Hanzo ect are so silly. Hiashi has never been officially recognized as a rank. Based on his feats and what we have seen from him relative to neji, we can safely assume he is kage rank.
Chiyo is kage level in terms of skill. If I have to explain why please re-read the manga. Hanzo is well
Kage level skill is kage level skill. There isn't anything above kage.
Jounin level skill is jounin level skill. The only exception is Tokubetsu Jonin which is having jonin level skill in one particular area.
Chuunin is chuunin level skill.
Genin is genin level skill.
This place is certainly going down hill. I miss those hiruzen vs hashirama days which lasted for months.
