... or live to see yourself become the villain. One of my all time favorites quotes (from the masterpiece "Dark Knight") seems to be relevant in this manga. We see examples like Obito and Nagato having good intentions but ultimately becoming the villain. Itachi survived his controversial (understatement) decision to slay his clan, and to the world became the villain.
I was wondering if you guys like this theme as a literary concept, if it represents real life or is just cool to read about/watch for entertainment. Could this even be considered a main theme of Naruto? Kishi is the master of constrasts, I think this is a contrast or negative to Naruto's ideal. Thoughts?
