You decide: The Hyuga and Byukugan story

What would you guys like the story (secrets and backgroud) about the Hyuga and the Byakugan to be?

Personally, I want them to be linked to the SO6P and Sharigan/Rinnegan. I'd also like them to be linked back to the center of everthing.

well i think kishi change his mind about it to be honest huyga was supposed to be stronger than uchiha and was in part one kinda but now they are left behind....if they do get a power up i hope it is hinata that gets it would be awesome if she got pissed off one day and owned a big bad like kabuto or madara lol

From how the manga looks, it seems like the story will end shortly after the war is over. If that happens, then the Byakugan and the Hyuuga Clan won't be getting an explanation.

Unless Kishi somehow extents the story's plot, there simply isn't enough time for him to go into a detailed history of the Hyuuga.

I think Kishi really forgot about those guys. It makes me sad. I thought they were supposed to be distantly related to the Uchiha... It would be nice if he would incorporate all the dojutsus together in some novel backstory. Like a small faction of the Uchiha broke away a long time ago, and as such developed their dojutsus in a different way than normal. There should also be a kekkei genkai power-up of some sort to go with this. Mangekeyo Byakugan?? lol

I'd like to see it be more well portrayed, base sharingan is not as powerful as byakugan imo, MS and EMS have little to do with the eye's abilities and just the jutsu they unlock. I'd like it to remain seperate from the entire SO6P story considering the story is too focused on it now a days. It'd be cool if it were shown it existed before the sharingan / rinnegan, though.

Kishi has no love for the Hyuugas. I would like to see more of their techniques with the gentle fist and if there's more to it than what we've seen.

I'd like the byakugan to be a gift to be the rejected son of the sage of six paths. So worthless that his own father denied his exsistance and took his father's hatred like a man and disapeared. Only to have developed an even greater jutsu and mastering all the sage modes (snake, toad, ect.), mastering the sharingan, reningan, byakugan and creating two new ones (one that is green with a new unique pattern (that could see through any attack) and one that could only be used in sage mode that enhances copying ability of any chakara nature and ability to counter as well as giving the user the physical ability to counter it) as well as creating new tailed beast(5 one with each visual jutsu). As the sixth hokage Kakashi finds out as a result he sends his anbu sakura haruno and uzumaki naruto to investigate only to find their collegue Neji Huga to have discovered a new scroll with the seal contaning the physical abilities of the third son of the sage of six paths. Hinata's father now becomes the right hand man and number one spy for Neji. Hinata now torn and lost. Naruto and Sakura shocked that Neji has gone mad with power due to Guy sensei!

Usually I would hate the idea because I rather the byakugan be its own seperate thing but since both sharingan and rennigan have been shown to see chakra I think it deserves to be explained how its somehow related to the other doujutsus. Sharingan recently has been shown to see chakra even though rocks are in the way making it even more like byakugan.

Throughout shippuden I was hoping Neji would get to fight one of the Akatsuki members and prove his skills as a Jounin (no chasing Deidara and Kisame clones doesn't count for me). And when Hizashi was shown being one of the edos I thought for sure Neji would get the chance to see him again but it never happened and doubtful it will. At this point I'd be grateful if Neji 64 palmed one more person before the series ends. I was really excited when I first saw how well Sakura had fought Sasori and believed Hinata would be even more skilled but that never got displayed. Her greatest moment was sacrificing her well being to save Naruto and even that is seen as a weakness to most people despite the importance of her action.
