lava can be even hotter than fire. It all depends on how hot the lava is.

Considering lava is a kekke genkai which is fire combined with earth (i think) and has melted susanoo to some extent, in the naruto world, it should be on a completely different level of heat when compared to fire.

Well, magma can certainly be hotter than fire, but I don't believe lava can.
By the time magma becomes lava, it's usually cooler than fire.
