[Discussion] Yonko Teach vs armament haki

So we know that because of the DF power Teach has, unlike most logia, he cannot phase through attacks. So im guessing that's why he stole Shirohige's DF power, for supreme offense since he has close to no defense besides using his kurouzu technique like he did on ace and luffy in the past, but even his broken abilities shouldn't be able to nullify armament haki. I say this because i fear that it might not have an affect on him, even though armament haki is supposed to be able to be the best way to fight any logia user. I base this off of his fight with shanks, we may not have seen it, but that fight ended in Teach getting away leaving shanks with a scar, granted he could have just jumped him with his crew, shanks had to have had armament haki at that point, and as far as hype is concerned, many theorize he is a master at haki. So what do ya guys think?

I clearly doubt that Yami-Yami no Mi can negate armanent haki which wouldn't make sense since BlackBeard wouldn't have any weakness then :/ just no way.

Then why hasnt he been taken out yet? How did he beat shanks whi is supposedly a haki master or at least had haki at that time? Idk im just lookin for answers lol

Why...'cause he is a yonko? Why would you mess with a yonko >_> who said he beat Shanks? I don't recall anything like that in manga,it's just said that BB is the one putting a scar on him.

I actually made a theory saying BB can negate all haki except CoC.

Why did Shanks lose his arm to the Sea King? People say to bet it on Luffy I say Oda hadn't fully solidified his concept of Haki at that point but those that believe Oda planned every aspect of the story before starting will call that heresy.

OP was orginally supposed to end in 2002. OAt first, Shanks wasn't supposed to lose an arm but his editor said that the 1st chapter wasn't interesting enough so he handicapped Shanks. Later, OP expanded and Oda screwed himself kind of.

BB can only negate a df power if hes holding onto you with his powers are active

luffy punched him (twice I think maybe) and luffy rubber didnt "deactivate" when he landed the hit

what makes that different? Not to mention his df is not like most logias.. he takes more damage then regular df users alone... adding haki in the mix would rekt him.

Shanks didnt destroy because Teach is strong.

I think he gave that scar because he has great haki too. But yami fruit can't take away haki, hake would help to defend against that attack depending on how strong your haki is.
