As some of you Jews probably know, there is a fast starting tonight and lasting for 25 hours until tomorrow night.
I wish everyone a good and easy fast!
The holiday of Yom Kippur also prohibits doing almost anything, as all you are allowed to do really is sleep and pray..
So, all you people who aren't going to be on the next two days, may you be written in the Book of Life!

It's almost here! :crazy: I just finished this huge meal and I'm stuffed to the brim! Of course, I do other stuff sometimes, the way my family sees it you really only have to give up one thing at least. I might be on tomorrow maybe, but most likely I'll be sleeping or reading scripture. xd

It depends. For me it's rather easy nowadays. In the past though it felt like hell, but now I know how to handle it.

Man imagine being jewish and hypoglycemic, that would suck on a holiday like this. This is one occasion where I am glad I'm not jewish, or any other religion that has fasting as a ritual, or well, any religion at all. I would never go 25 hours with eating unless I was in a coma or dead. 2.5 hours without food is too much for me, let alone 25.
