Yo! Why Kaguya needed a host?

In anime/manga history, the only time a villain like Kaguya would need a host is when their original body is destroyed.

So did somebody destroyed Kaguya's original body?

Yes I have. Kaguya ate the fruit. basically became one with the tree. BIRTHED two child after.....then one day, turn into a tree and gone wild!

After getting like getting all of the bijuus back, she should've been able to become whole again without a host.

Think about it. Kaguya basically became the Juubi. Old man separated the juubi into 1 to 9 bijuus + 10 tailed shell.

Madara basically sealed back all the 9 bijuus back into the 10 tailed shell aka gedo. At that point, that Gedo should've been able to turn back into kaguya.

The prep time and ingredients needed to summon means it took a lot of power and complexity to defeat her.

We saw how that big ass gedo.. well ten tailed beast at the time when fighting the whole shinobi alliance weaved signs and shit. Kaguya was in control in a sense. I don't see any reason why she couldn't take a form at that moment.

Both Madara and Obito absorbed the Juubi with a special technique. While Black Zetsu simply revived Kaguya.

Right. Plus that ten tailed beast was practically absorbing NE on it own to fight the shinobi alliance! that beast couldn't just run off to the cut and sit and absorbed all the NE it can to allow Kaguya to take a form.

To make matter worse, shouldn't all the bijuus merge back together as one after Kaguya took control? Like it shouldn't be possible for those bijuus to exist again after merging unless old man use yin/yang release to make them again.

Maybe she was still partially subjugated by Madara and Obito. These things make Naruto fertile ground for fanfictions

They still have a form even if they do get absorbed. The only way to turn them back into chakra again is sasukes method. Kurama said sasuke was doing the opposite of what the sage did to them (i.e create them).

The Reason Kaguya needs a host is that she's pretty much the combination of all Chakra on the planet in Physical form sort of like how the Juubi is the combination of all the tailed beasts.

That's why Infinite Tsukuyomi is crucial to Kaguya's revival due to the fact Madara is the only one who can activate it.
