So I am going to show you why the Yin seal counters gentle fist.

Naruto's Situation:

Naruto was able to recover from gentle fist, using Kuruma's chakra. Gentle fist works by inserting one's chakra into the chakra point, Kuruma's chakra must have overpowered Neji's tiny bit of chakra and opened the point since Kuruma's chakra reserve is so large, enough of it was able to push it open.

Another way it may have opened was because Kuruma's chakra heals. If the points needs to be healed like a cut to open then that is what happened.

Hinata had her points closed, her organs were damaged and must have been healed using mystical palm but for mystical palm to work, her points have to be opened to allow chakra in, so the medic's chakra have to have overpowered the tiny bit of Neji's chakra put in.

Yin seal situation:

The yin seal reserve is much larger than the the body's regular reserve. So when released, tons of chakra will overpower the tiny bit in place to open the point.

Or if it does not work that way then creation birth which is used to heal will heal the points the same way Kuruma's chakra heals.

Yin seal markings:

Yin seal is a seal obviously but do any of you remember when Kakashi sealed Sasuke's curse mark? Well the markings moved to seal the curse mark, then the markings must allow chakra flow.

Tsunade's justus allow the seal markings all over her body and they must allow chakra flow. So if the seal doesnt open the points then the markings will just allow for chakra flow. This makes perfect sense since if your are trying to heal a giant wound you are going to need more chakra than your tenkestu can carry so the markings allow for more chakra flow.

-------------

I hope I explained how the yin seal would counter gentle fist. And hopefully put an end to the Hyuga VS Tsunade threads.

Also I know some of you are going to bash me and that is fine but this is not me fanboying, this is logical reasoning and if you are not going to accept it fine, just go to some other thread please!

We don't know whether Hinata was healed exclusively by the Medical Team. What if Hiashi reversed the effect? Your argument is based on the premise that Hiashi was not involved and the med team healed her alone.

Seeing as she was about to die and Hiashi was nowhere to be found and would take some time to get there, the medical team were the only ones who could have done something.

This is an assumption. From what we know, the medical ninjas saved Hinata's life with medical ninjutsu. Tsunade's technique ( as she herself stated ) isn't a recover ability, but regeneration- an advanced version of the medical ninjutsu. So according to this, the Yin seal is more than capable of healing her damaged/closed chakra points.

The manga doesn't tell us enough. We can't assume Hiashi helped but at the same time we can't assume that med team did it alone. There's a degree of unfalsifiabilty which means neither side can claim the argument.

@Bold. This only proves that they healed the internal organs. Closing Tenketsu doesn't mean death. Opening tenketsu doesn't equal saving life.
Yes, it is a regeneration technique that relies on chakra to activate

It does not need to tell us more, Hinata was dying in that moment. There is no way Hiashi would have made it in time to help her. The medic team did it.

She was dying from organ failure not closed tenketsu. The med team just repaired her organs.

Exactly, to use the mystical palm technique which is the fastest way to save her life rather then open her up and repair each organ her tenketsu needs to be opened.

Perhaps opening the yin seal would revert the effects, however that doesn't stop them from getting slaughtered yet again which is whats going to happen, and they can't recover twice

It will or may not allow chakra to re-enter the path way. But they can literally just turn the chakra right back off. Or at the very least disrupt the new chakra that entered her body. The Yin seal isn't really changing much unless she can kill asap after it is opened.

Tsunade can close than re-open the seal as many times as she wants.

They can reset over and over. The Hyugas cannot go all day, they will run out of chakra. They will get tired since they dont have as much gas in the tank as Tsunade and she ends it there.

Exactly. With the Yin seal Tsunade is a chakra beast. A Hyuuga isn't outlasting her.
