Seeing how Kishimoto has Kept Sasuke's yin seal under wraps for so long I really do hope it is something worth the wait.
Here r a few possibilities that I can think of

Susanoo creations: basically using the seals to recreate the spirit weapons

Advanced Shape Manipulation: giving elements any form u desire on the spot

Enhanced genjutsu ability: might be what allows Sasuke enough power to counter MT

Do these sound plausible 2 u? and do u have any other ideas for the yin seal?

That Tobirama hype is misconstrued. Tobirama creates the water the same way Kisame does.

Well, when u take creating form from nothing its pretty much using chakra to create form without physical presence

That sounds like Susanoo & Genjutsu

Well, Sasuke said his seal is shadow style. Naruto has used his seal to do nothing but breath life. So I wouldn't see y Sasuke would stick by the guidelines for yin

Yeah that is one way. Another application is Susanoo and Madara's lightning blast as well
