Genjutsu is a form of yin Release . . . . But among the two techs Mizukage's one effects multiple targets while Itachi can usually Tsukiomy KO only one target, with a lot of stress. The two techs has different applications: 1 vs 1 Itachi Wins, 1 vs Many Mizu wins.

Yin release of course. Itachis tysukiyomi is only close range n only works on one person at a time.

Get ur information right please: Tsukiomy manipulates space and time within the genjutsu world, so that 1 second in real world seems like three days in genjutsu world. Plus i completed the first post.

I'd say 2nd mizukage's mirage genjutsu. It's most likely that he defeated Mu with it, add to that the fact that it affects multiple targets, and that the effect won't be nullified until the clam is destroyed... But nevertheless, Itachi's Tsukiyomi is one of the strongest genjutsu techniques in a 1 vs 1 fight, though it has some side effects to Itachi's body and left eye.

I'd personally rather the 2nd mizukages genjutsu over Itachi's.

Yes, Itachi's genjutsu is powerful, but like others have mentioned, its only effects one person at a time and has horrible draw-backs. The 2nd mizukage's is more useful as it effects multiple opponents, has no draw backs and can't be released unless you destroy the clam which is easier said then done. Also, I doubt the sharingan could see through the mirage as its very similar to the hidden mist technique, which happens to fool the sharingan!
