Is this Crona character like a cross dresser or something? He looks and sounds like a girl to me, so I was just wonderin.

The anime made Crona a guy but the author made her as a girl. You can't really tell.

I was under the impression that Crona's gender was left unconfirmed, at least that's what I recall. Some translators say "he" and others say "she" so it really just depends on that. I don't think the author ever explicitly stated if Crona was male or female.

May or may not have been a confusion. Crona does have more of the style of a girl. But in the anime he's a guy. In different languages usually when you use the letter "A" at the end of a name, it's used for females. It may be a possibility.

They have never stated Chrona's gender (in the manga), I dunno why.
