Born Two days after Haku, His dad had died in the ninja wars, and his mother died while giving birth to him. He was forced to sit alone in the cold and lonely village because like Naruto, he was outcast due to his history. His Father, had the ability to control ice, and after the ninja wars, the villagers became worried that his fathers powers may have been passed on to him. Because of this he was afraid to show that he had in fact, inherited his father's power. His Aunt(Haku's mother) saw that from an early age he had an affinity for ice, making him very adept in the element. She secretly trained him for three years, until she found out that Haku had inherited the same ability. A few days later, he over-heard the villagers talking with his Aunt's Husband over plans to kill Her and Haku. He tried to run to them before the plans could be executed but was captured by a small group of villagers. They Then Tried to kill him by drowning him in a river but where all impaled on ice spikes as he floated down the river.
While floating down the river he passed out of consciousnesses, and when he awoke he was surrounded by strange creatures. They All had weird appearances, and wings(now known as the moths). One Of the creatures bit him on his left forearm, leaving a mark known as the Mark of The Monarch.
They began training him in moth techniques, and even moth summoning, giving him the ability to change forms with them(Chrysalis Transformation). While there was a moth for every element, there was only one moth he couldn't learn from due to his inability to learn lava techniques. While he could not use those jutsu, he did learn he had an affinity to wind jutsu.
A few years later He heard tale of an epic battle on The Great Naruto Bridge that was close to his home. He asked the moths to take him there and when he arrived he discovered his Cousin Haku's Grave. While In Amegakure, he met a powerful group of Ninja that utilized smoke devices, such as smoke bombs, and gas masks. Due to his initial intrigue, he spent the next three years mastering smoke jutsu. He finished training and began wearing a Gas Mask, a sign that he had mastered Smoke jutsu. He then left in search of more power.
After many years in the village and becoming the head of Anbu operations at the age of 16, his own genius and ingenuity had caused him to delve into the dark recesses of his mind. He the grew an altered conscience, from his own suppressed anger and resentment that had formed into a completely separate collective that then plotted on taking control of himself. Upon its fruition, it took control of Yero and used his body to attack his beloved village of Kumogakure. Stuck inside his head while watching as the Akatsuki and the first officer killed his Kage, he too was banished, only gaining his control once again as he left.
He now wanders in the Ninja world, a rogue looking for the Akatsuki for answers as to why their actions led to this

The top of the fortress is like a tent, meeting at the center above the user (shaped like a pyramid.) The Air in the fortress causes pain to anyone not used to cold air, causing wind jutsu used by the user against a non ice user +10 damage due to the chilling effect. The ice used in this jutsu cannot be used to make any jutsu, without causing the entire structure to fall on top of everyone within the fortress. Ice jutsu used inside the arena are colder than usual, causing numbness to limbs that are hit with Ice Jutsu. After four turns, the jutsu falls apart, causing massive chunks of ice to fall on the user and opponent.

-The user cannot leave the fortress unless the jutsu is broken.
