As most of us know, 2016 is the Year of Sanji since WCI arc deals with Sanji's backstory and is bound to provide him with some character development. So do you guys think a "Year of Zoro" will happen in the Wano arc?

I doubt it. What exactly is left to do with Zoro?
Zoro's backstory is vague, just like Sanji's was before WCI and Luffy's before the Post-MF arc. All we have for Zoro's backstory so far is that one day he showed up at Koshiro's dojo and wanted to become a master swordsman, and he got into a rivalry with Kuina, who eventually died and motivated Zoro to try to become the WSS. He don't know what Zoro's life was like before he joined the dojo or who his parents are.

Might as well give a year to each strawhat then tbh. Imo wano gonna be ennies lobby's equalivant but only with alot of supernovas influence here and there, not nessecacirly just zoro, that's how I see it.

Wano would be most likely the arc for Zoro's potential development but I don't see something like an year of Zoro...
It's Zoro-time all the time when he's near the spotlight or in it...
