The sig source it's on the internet for everyone to use. Lol. *******.

If deleted it then it means he uploaded it for his own personal use. Plus it's ya know his sig. Lol

*But its none of my business*

Sure I don't own the rights to it and neither does he.
- He uploaded it to his account, so the links are made for the him to use.
- Of course the original image isn't his. But because he drag and drop the picture into the account, he can access it anytime. You are calling him out for that, which is pointless.

From what I got, you basically called him out for deleting what you claimed to be your link. Am I wrong?

The links are made for anyone to use. If I wanted to view a pic I'd obviously click on the link. If I chose to embed it I'd copy and paste the link. There is nothing unlawful about that.

I'm not calling him out for that I'm just explaining to you that this image does not belong to him.

I didn't say that this was my link but it was my source. Just like when researches right a scholarly paper and they claim a reference to be "their" source it doesn't actually mean they wrote the article in which they obtained the information, but that is their source of information.

That's is not how image sharing works in imgur.
Are the images anonymous? said:
Yup. No one will ever know who posted what. If you share your image all over the Internet and it becomes popular, then it might be featured in the gallery. This ensures that the private image you sent to your boyfriend will never be seen by anyone else, while making all the funny images posted to reddit available for viewing.
How do I get my image in the gallery? said:
To get your image into the Gallery, it must be spread all over the Internet and gain a certain level of popularity. This means that you’re still able to upload images and have them remain private (just don’t share them all over the Internet!) while still being able to view the best images out there.

The “best” images are determined by you guys and the Internet community as a whole.
However, we’d like to specifically thank the Twitter search engine Topsy. Topsy makes it very easy to search Twitter for the top trending Imgur images. We then take what we learn from Topsy, and look at our own data to determine if something is popular. However, nothing is perfect, so if you find an image you don’t like, just vote it down!

If you want your image to be spotlighted in the Gallery, then start sharing it on the Internet. Submit it to Reddit, tweet it on Twitter, talk about it on your blog, etc. Oh, and it would help if it was a picture of a cat.
How do I allow people to view my image said:
There's no way to search for what other people are uploading, which makes everything you upload private. You choose what to make public by sharing the links to the images. Imgur is just a simple way for you to get pictures on the Internet as quickly as possible, so that you can go back to writing the blog post that the pictures will be included on.
The bolded part answers your questions.

That makes sense.

I thought source and links means the same thing in this context?

First of all, I never asked you a question. I simply attempted to make certain facts clear to you by stating the obvious.

Regardless of if this image was private or not(which you can't prove) doesn't change the fact that it's still not illegal to use it and that I have every right to use it. As far as who decides which image is the best goes, I don't see what that has to do with anything we've talked about. People can chose all they want. He still doesn't own the images in this sig nor does he have the right to say who can and can't use it. If he wants control over who uses this he can simply ask for the owner for it.

Of course what I said makes sense. I didn't call him out for using pictures that DON'T belong to him which you claimed that I did. I simply informed him that I am still able to use this signature. YOU are actually the one who said these images belong to him which you absolutely wrong about. So I'm telling you your wrong not calling him out for using images that don't belong to him.

As for the last part I swear I just explained it to you. It's my source but it's not my link. Hell it's not even his link. I'm pretty sure he doesn't own the domain so none of the links to the web site actually belong to him. I used the link as a source; therefore, it's my source but I do not own it. You don't have to own your source. More times than none a persons source comes from other places.
