Yata Mirror ?

Hey guys, I'm currently making a thread and was wondering if you could clear something up for me...

In the Manga it was stated that the Yata Mirror was made out of all 5 nature types combined, and therefore it could defend against all attacks. I always interpreted this as "can defend against all elemental attacks", since it is made out of all 5 and would change accordingly depending on what type the attack is, so, if it got hit by a fire attack, it would change into a watertyped shield, which would overwhelm the fire type.

However, I keep constantly seeing people state that Yata Mirror>All attacks. So people say that, for example, that the Yata mirror could render a TBB useless. I personally find this kind of weird as it was stated that the shield consisted of all elements, but I never noticed anyone in the Manga stating that it could defend against all attacks.

So, which is it, does it defend against all attacks, or just the elemental ones ? :shrug:

Yes, the Yata Mirror is endowed with all natures, and yes, it changes itself according to the attack. The only way I've got around this whole Yata Mirror tanks anything idea is through the fact that most shinobi's chakra is linked to a nature (Exception of Hyuga clan and maybe some others I can't think of) , like when Naruto went four tails versus Orochimaru, his TBB was a mix of his and Kurama's chakra. I think it's mainly because Zetsu said it made him invinicible along with Totsuka sword. We don't know the limits of the Yata mirror so we may never know..

Although, the real Yata no Kagami was said to be burned and destroyed in a fire....

But all attacks whether astral, physical or ninjutsu is repelled...

We know it can defend from physical attacks since we saw Sasuke run into it with his kusanagi sword and got ricocheted

Of or relating to a supposed nonphysical realm of existence in which the physical human body is said to have a counterpart​

Such a statement hints yata mirror is immune to any sort of space time tech like kamui , which resembles that of a black hole
