He doesn't need to keep it up constantly. He can activate it in less than 1/1000th of a second.

The Yata mirror is not a technique, it is a tool.

But anyone who actually argues with an itachi fanboy who says he's 100% invincible is dumber than the fanboy they are arguing with.

Obviously Itachi can be beaten, it's just exceedingly difficult.

We've never confirmed if it can expand enough to become a 360* barrier but I don't think so or Itachi would have done it. However yes , it does expand quite a bit. I agree that the back of Susanoo is strong but even Danzo was able to exploit it with a few wind jutsus.

Danzo found it and broke it with just some wind jutsus. There are much bigger jutsus around now that could break it much faster.
