Yata Mirror Grossly Underated- HardCounter to Dust Release

The thing I have a question about is where the attack begins. Would all of it be considered an attack, therefore Yata could block it? Or is the explosion the attack, therefore the "carrier" could bypass Yata since that by itself is not harmful to Itachi. Similar to Kamui, it's not an attack to walk through a defense.

Since Yata as a shield is meant to defend its susanoo not itself. Any attack on the susanoo should be blocked. Ofc this doesn't account for ground attacks. With kamui I don't think the phasing will work because Yata defends against astral bodies. But Obito could always teleport into the susanoo
