Yata Mirror has all Nature Transformations so it changes itself to negate jutsu. Kamui isn't a Nature Transformation. Therefore, Yata is defenseless to Kamui.

Actually, no. The Yata no Kagami changes it's properties to match the attributes of the attack which then allows it to repel that same attack. It isn't limited to the attributes of Nature Transformations only. If it was, it wouldn't have been capable of repelling either Orochimaru's snakes and Sasuke's paper bombs.

What about Mind Transfer jutsu? Manga says it matches itself to the element of a jutsu. Literally it means Earth, Water, Wind, Fire and Lightning. Also physical attacks. Mind transfer or Mind Destruction are not elemental or physical. I doubt Itachi would let himself get caught in that jutsu but that is not the topic.

Also Yata Mirror is a forward facing shield. That is also a potential weakness.
