Yata Mirror and Amaterasu

So I've been reading a couple of threads about yata mirror and dicided to post my own...
In the detabook yata mirror is discribed as

but amaterasu doesnt have element(attribute) and isnt a physycal attack wich means the yata mirror cant block it do you aggre and if not please explain

Amaterasu is said to stick to its target untill it burns it but not quite sure how the shield itself will react to that situation Im open to suggestions

The Yata Mirror is a Spiritual weapon that reflects all things! and it's already proven that Amaterasu doesn't burn EVERYTHING(ex. gaara sand)

Going by the Databook it alters it's properties and attributes according to the attack rendering it ineffective. Nothing about it turning to water. The Yata will change to something to repel amaterasu.

Shinra tensei was able to repel so gravity itself would work.

I think some of you are thinking of it the wrong way.

Amaterasu SUMMONS flames onto whatever the user is looking at. The fact that Yata Mirror is actually see through means that whoever is using Amaterasu can actually SEE the person upon which he is summoning the flames, and the flames would be summoned BEHIND the shield!

So in reality, Yata Mirror cannot stop Amaterasu for the funny reason that you can see through it

never thought of it that way but we have seen that the amaterasu travels reffering to the time when raikage dodged it and it hit a samurai in the back Im pretty sure ill have to hit the shield but if lets say the amaterasu was cast from the back then its gg

How I see it is that The Raikage was so fast that Sasuke couldn't actually SEE him. So he summoned the flames on the samurai behind, who FELL back of his own accord in surprise. The flames are still summoned.

but here is proven that the flames actualy travel with the speed of the user's eyes followin x-target. But if sasuke looks directly at the user of the yata mirror there is still the shield in front of him even though he can look trough it the flames cant go trough it catch my drift?

But look at the first part. The flames aren't TRAVELLING towards the Raikage. They APPEAR on the Raikage. If he weren't so fast, then they wouldn't have gone back. Maybe once they are summoned they are liable to movement. Or maybe after Sasuke summoned them, he used blaze release in an attempt to make them go faster and hit the Raikage once they're already summoned, and instead hit the Samurai. But the fact of the matter is that he SUMMONED them onto the exact spot where the Raikage was.

hmm you make a good point what im trying to say is if he looks trough the shield the flames will automaticly get summoned on it cause its in the way even though its a spiritual weopen it can still be seen and we cant say for sure if theyre appearing or traveling with ridicilus spead but Ill agree theyre getting summoned cause kishi is hinting it

Iam pretty sure gaara sand was on fire just did not burn through it because it is a strong defense
