Yata and Totsuka

I was thinking, since Itachi is gone, what happened to the weapons that his Susanoo wielded, the Yata Mirror and the Totsuka blade ?
Are they gone forever, since Itachi isn't around anymore to summon his Susanoo? And more importantly, does this mean Nagato won't ever come back ?? :crazy: I know it's stupid, but I always had a tiny bit of hope that he'd return, especially after seeing Oro come back :'(

Last time Itachi poked Sasuke's head he got mangekyou sharingan and all the skills, now he gave him a headbump so Sasuke will get the legendary weapons.

The poke was a single shot of Amaterasu to be used on Tobi. Sasuke awakened the MS after realizing he killed his loving older brother, not the murderous traitor he thought him to be.

I agree that the headbump might have been a transfer of the weapons though.

Lol I'd have to agree! EMS means he has no side effects of Susanoo and then ultimate defensive weapon as well as a sword that 1-hit seals....just about as bad as that Perfect Susanoo XD!!!!

In the japanese mythology these Items cant be given or taken, the Items choose their wielders.
So they arent lost after Itachi´s death but Itachi couldnt give them to Sasuke..unless Kishi decides that its needed for the plot (sealing Madara).

It would be awesome if Sasuke wielded them. Totsuka + Yata + Susano'o bow and arrow + The Amaterasu orb. That makes for a pretty strong Susano'o...
