As long as you're mid-ranged from me the lightning would continue on and hit you. Its not like Im aiming the technique, just releasing it. So yeah, itd still go towards you, but yeah the genjutsu wouldnt because I could see you weren't were I thought you were

That Chidori technique isn't Long Ranged? Lol then I definitely win since we are long ranged, we were mid ranged when I used hurricane fist to fly backwards into Long Range remember? I delivered the punch in an angle forward and blown myself backwards into long range.
