Appearance & Personality
Yao Chen is a 5'9" male with an ethereal, elegant appearance. His physical appearance could be described as flawless. His long white hair falls to the centre of his back, blending with his long, flowing white, pale blue robes. He bears a striking crimson red on his eyelids and around his eyes, reminiscent of sage mode, yet this is where the similarities stop. He bears a mark, a huadian mark, a flaming lotus on his forehead. Yao Chen's personality is naturally calm and collected; little bothers him, and he takes life in his stride, fitting his ethereal-like nature. However, he bears a deep hatred for the divines, for now, the reason unknown.

History
Yao Chen, once part of a great clan known as the Yao clan, descendants of the original monks of who created the concept of Dokkodo. Yao Chen studied the ways of the sword within his clan and the ways of natural energy, also known as 'Dokkodo', although today it has become more widespread, the Yao clan still led the forefront of The alone way. Yao Chen's clan were a force to be reckoned with in their own right; however, they kept to themselves, keepers of knowledge of 'The alone way'. Protecting the techniques and ways of the original monastery. When Yao Chen was 16, disaster struck, and most of his clan perished in the battle. Rumours of the clan's destruction blamed the Divines for bringing down punishment upon the clan; however, no one really knows exactly how the clan's destruction occurred. Now, years after finishing his training with a few other survivors. Yao Chen travels seeking to improve his strength and find a new location where the remnants of his clan can settle down.
