WHAT IS YANG
pls
Yang is the opposite of Yin, but better!

Yin is associated with spiritual energy, Yang is associated with physical one. It can be used to give life to other techniques and elements, heal, empower one's physical strength and resist damage.

Yin is life tho

Anyway, I'll always quote the training done by Drackos on Yang:

"There are a few traits that are unique to Yang itself. Yang energy is very heated, but gives off no heat ( meaning if touched, incredibly hot flames will be felt but if you are near it, you generally won't feel it); It is life energy and encompasses just that, life ( what I mean by this is Yang is able to be used to breath life into form, obviously. Keeping in mind what I said earlier about how all Yang jutsu contain traits of Yin, you are able to use Yang to create living entities or appendages/alterations to the body. This can be best compared to Jugo's clan and how it is able to grow limbs that are enhanced by natural energy, or the Akimichi clan and it's ability to grow/manipulate the size of their body parts or even comparable to the Kaguya who are able to manipulate their skeletal system or even Inorganic Reincarnation which is able to infuse nonliving items with life and sentience like Yang can ); Yang energy is able to cause an imbalance of energy in the body that can have varying effects ( though logically, inserting too much of either Yin or Yang energy into the body will cause an imbalance, only Yang energy is able to affect the opponent in a way that this imbalance can hinder or harm them.

This is because Yang requires greater control to handle due to it's highly energized state. This means that with Yang, you can insert high Yang energy and since they don't know how to control it yet, they will have adverse effects on their chakra system. This can present itself as difficulty in using it, inability to utilize certain fields, even things such as rapid aging of the body due to overflowing life energy, aging you to your peak and beyond); heal on a better level than Medjutsu or Hashirama cells ( one of the easier things to understand, Yang due to it's life energy, is able to heal wounds and even life threatening injuries. On the surface, this doesn't seem as useful because for the most part, the RP is a glass cannon one where almost any blow will kill you. But you can use Yang energy in ways to replicate or even make better forms of Medjutsu.

You could create Yang energy that filters biological warfare attacks like poisons and things, you could use it to make abilities like the Yin seal of Tsunade's which is terribly named, you could also use it in conjunction with the life filling ability to make perfect clones that are living with their own chakra pools like a pseudo Creation ); and a few more things."

Do you have any questions around the fundamentals of Yang before we jump in?

This sums it up pretty good. No questions sir!

GOOD, let's jump in

(Yoton: Jigoku ni henkō) - Yang Release: Change into Hell
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A (+30, -10 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user is able to use their Yang nature too imbue life into an elemental technique, creating a Yang/Element sentient entity that remains on the field to aid them. The only limit is the size of the technique originally used as an elemental source, as the resulting entity will always be half the size. The entity can be interacted with, can act on its own, and is made of the element sourced with all its properties intact. Its strength is based on the original elemental technique used as a source. This doesn’t consume time since it is actually a skill applied to a technique used within the same timeframe. The infused chakra increases the technique by an additional ten chakra, of the thirty it costs in total. Note that the resulting entity created by this technique is bound by logical limitations of its shape and nature; a meteor cannot move on its own, a pillar cannot walk away, and a statue without arms cannot pick things up. Likewise, while it is able to use techniques from the source it is created from it cannot extend into different fields. For instance, if Susano’o is brought to life by this technique it cannot use Blaze Release unless the Susano’o itself is constructed, or partially formed, from Blaze itself (e.g. Sasuke’s Susano’o). It is bound by the literal source it is formed from, rather than the fields it is bound to.
Note: Usable 3 times per battle and up to 6 times per event to create one entity with up to 300 chakra points that is able to use jutsu from the source it was created from. Its chakra reserves can be replenished through external means, and because it has a chakra network can fall under the influence of Genjutsu or other Spiritual-based techniques.
Note: Yang Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users can apply this technique to advanced fields and CE and advanced elements.

CoH, tell me about it and how you would utilize it, in your ICE and so on battle style.

Alright mate prepare yourself for a mountain of questions.

A technique that uses Yang to imbue life into a technique of mine and make it sentient. The resulting entity is half the size of the original technique. It's strength is equal to the original technique and maintains the element's strengths and weaknesses. Change into hell happens within the same time frame of the jutsu used.

With ice I could use it on this jutsu for example:

(Hyouton: Kokuryū Bōfūsetsu) Ice Release: Black Dragon Blizzard
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user will make a giant ether-like dragon of black snow. The dragon is capable of turning while in mid-air, and is therefore very difficult to be dodged. If it hits the opponent successfully, they will be launched high into the air afterwards.

Which leads to Question 1: Now this is technically ice release but the dragon is made of snow. So can this dragon use ice techniques?

Other cannon ice jutsu that comes to mind:

(Hyouton: Sōryū Bōfūsetsu) Ice Release: Twin Dragon Blizzard
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: This is an advanced version of “Ice Release: Black Dragon Blizzard,” in which the user makes two of these dragons instead of one. The two dragons then swirl upwards and converge into a massive tornado.

This leads to Question 2: This technique creates two Dragons. Does Change into Hell apply on both of them. So Do I get two sentient creatures at the price of 1?

Now let's think outside the box for a minute. What are the limitiations here? It says it can turn pillars sentient so it's not only applicable to animals. Let's take the next jutsu for example:

(Hyouton: Khione no Saikuron) Ice Release: Khione's Cyclone
Type: Attack
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 50
Damage: N/A
Description: After the user performs a string of 15 handseals and releases a massive amount of hyouton chakra around the battlefield, he creates a massive tornado all around it, with a radius up to 50m. The tornado consists of nothing more than a massive wind current and snow. The wind carries the snow in a cyclic motion at very high speeds, which makes the snow act as a wall/barrier around the battlefield, cold enough to freeze anything that passes through it. Due to the rotation speed and the basic principle of hot-cold air, everything within it freezes in the 4th turn after using the jutsu. As the tornado spins around the battlefield, hot air moves upwards while the cold air stays low, near the ground, freezing anything caught within it, including the user. The same way the snow acts as a heat insulator when forming around the battlefield, the user can use it to protect himself against this technique. After the 4th turn, and freezing of the battlefield occurs, the cyclone vanishes. While performing this technique, the user must stay steady.
Note: While this jutsu is in use, the user can perform only 2 techniques per turn for the next 4 turns, due to the massive amount of chakra being released
Note: Only up to and including S ranked techniques on next 4 turns
Note: No ice jutsus same turn
Note: Usable only once per battle
Note: User can perform only water, wind and ice techniques while using this technique
Note: Courtesy of McRazor

This leads to Question 3: Can you make a blizzard sentient? Like imagine a sentient storm all around the battle ground that sends ice jutsu at the opponent. How cool is that? But is it possible?

Also Question 4: This technique has N/A damage points. So how strong would the sentient creature be?

I'm also thinking of making a singular Ice Crystal Mirror sentient. And make it spam Greater Ice technique. The cool thing about this is I can merge with my sentient creature. The RP possibilities for fun use of Change into Hell seem endless. Now I believe the answer to this next question would relly on your answer to Question 2. But hear me out. Question 5: In case of making Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors sentient and I make the full 21 mirrors, can the sentient creature within jump from mirror to mirror? xD

Also while we are talking about this technique, it would be nice to rework it, stating how much of a speed boost one gets from jumping in and out of the mirrors. xD

(Hyouton: Makyō Hyōshō) Ice Release: Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40 (+10 extra per turn, excluding the first turn)
Damage: 80
Description: The user will make a dome of 21 ice mirrors surround the opponent. Twelve are at ground level, eight are above the first twelve and placed at an angle so that they face slightly downward, and the last one is place directly at the top and center of the dome, facing directly down to the ground. The user can move at extremely high speeds that only the Sharingan can keep up with and manage to dodge while in this dome. The user can freely leap in and out of the mirrors as they wish and move to the other mirrors if one is destroyed, but the jutsu requires so much chakra to maintain that the users movements become progressively slower the longer they hold it (after three turns have passed a normal ninja can keep up with it for the most part) and they cannot perform jutsu while using this. When the jutsu is first starting, though, the user can move so quickly that it looks as though they are in, and attacking from, all 21 mirrors simultaneously. This jutsu was very resistant to fire jutsu, and can only be melted by fire of its own rank or greater, and cannot be destroyed by wind or water alone (both would basically empower it) unless it is of forbidden rank. A single ice mirror (or any number less than the complete set of mirrors) can also be created that the user can use as a shield and go in and out of it through both sides.

Moving on from Ice.

The jutsu description states "The entity can be interacted with" Question 6: Can the entity talk? Like can you make a dragon that talk like Smaug from the Hobbit? Or is it more like a mental link between the entity and the user? Or why not both?

Question 7: Are there any visual cues that would tell the opponent that the technique has become sentient? Like can you see the spark of life in the eyes of the sentient creature and guess without meta-gaming that this is perhaps a sentient creature xD, provided of course you don't have Yang.

Questions 8 and 9 are from an ongoing official battle of mine against Troi where he used the technique against me. So while at the point of writing this I already defeated his entity and have taken the damage, if you feel like it's against the rules for you to answer these questions now, you can skip them and we can come back here after the battle is over.

Nevertheless here they are: The jutsu description states: "because it has a chakra network can fall under the influence of Genjutsu or other Spiritual-based techniques." So Question 8: Can an Otsutsuki with Tenseigan take control of an opponent's entity using this technique:

( Ningyō Noroitama ) - Puppet Cursing Technique
Type: Offensive/Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80 (n/a)
Description: The user molds his chakra into the form of a green-coloured sphere. This sphere is held and can be seen as similar to the Rasengan in appearance. By sending it at an opponent, the user can use these spheres to temporarily take control of an opponent's body, effectively turning them into a puppet, with limitations of course. It also has tactical purposes, allowing the user to read the minds of those it enters, mentally linking to the user. These spheres can also have damaging effects, causing damage if used as an offensive sphere of chakra, similar to Rasengan. The user cannot use it for both puppet mimicry and to damage the opponent in the same turn. The user can alternatively use the offensive variant through his actual puppets, not the ones used from this jutsu.
Note: Cannot be used to force the opponents to kill or injure themselves.
Note: Only two puppets can be controlled at a time via this method and up to Kage ranked. Hold over the puppets last for only a single turn.
Note: Can only be used by Otsutsuki Clan bios.

Me and Troi both agreed that it could, but we weren't sure.

Question 9: If the user willingly releases the original technique from its sentient control, does the original technique retain its damage points. The scenario in our battle is this: (Once again if you think answering this is against the rules due to this being on going battle don't answer this) He used Change into Hell on Water Dragon technique. The dragon comes at me. I use Puppet cursing technique on the dragon to try and take control, knowing if I fail the dragon would crush me. What sneaky Troi did was remove the sentient part of his Water Dragon technique, essentially letting mine go through it. Now our argument was this: I believed Removing Change into Hell from the jutsu would render it useless and I wouldn't get hit by 90dmg water. He believes because of the inertia, the dragon would still smash onto me and damage me. I took the damage in the battle. So what do you think?

Sorry for the wally xD

  1. Yes, they can use Ice Release
  2. One at a time
  3. Sentient within reason
  4. Depends on the rank
  5. No lol
  6. You can probably make them talk for RP reasons I guess p-p
  7. I always imagined the flames of rejuvenation bursting into the creature to indicate the mass of Yang energy in them.
  8. Can't comment on an official battle, unless I'm asked to check it o-o
(Yoton: Taiyōnomegumi) - Yang Release: Touch of the Sun
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 60 per use
Damage points: N/A
Description: Through the infusion of Yang natured chakra into others, users can heal others to their original best physical form. It can be used to regrow missing body parts, heal wounds, purge poisons, etc. The target needs to be alive and the bigger the injury, the longer it takes to heal. The limits of the heal, however, are almost none as it can heal 120 damage per turn and can even heal the chakra system or other injuries that are otherwise not possible to be healed. The technique requires time and physical contact and as such isn't very suited to use in a battle when compared to regular Iryo Ninjutsu.
Note: Yang Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users are able to use on themselves.

Same idea here, ask them questions, good sir.

I liked the idea of a sentient storm so I might submit this as a CJ xD

One more question on Change into Hell - does the creation get my boosts? For example I have +20dmg from Mind AP, so the creation would have +20 as well, but would his techniques carry +20 damage?

Touch of the sun - Cool technique to use in the Ninja world, being able to heal myself or allies. Not much use of it in battle as far as I can tell. This is the jutsu that healed Guy-sensei in Naruto.
No questions here.

Unless its that specific area being boosted, they don't get it. If they by default get the +20 from your AP boost, they get it.

(Yoton: Ken'i) - Yang Release: Power of The Sun
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 80 (30 per turn)
Damage points: N/A (+40 to Taijutsu)
Description: The user will reinforce his own body with Yang natured chakra, empowering his physical abilities to the outermost limits. This allows him to become physically very strong (beyond the normal levels of chakra enhanced strength), increases his resistance to physical damage (decreasing 60 damage from any physical contact), his speed (boosted to 3.5x his normal speed), and grants him a passive healing of all minor wounds at 30 damage per turn. However, by infusing himself with the Yang Nature, he becomes unable to use Yin Release techniques or Yin/Yang Release techniques; he cannot use Genjutsu or non elemental Ninjutsu of any kind (including special fields like Fuuinjutsu).
Note: Can only be used twice per battle and lasts 4 turns per use.

This one is fun, especially if you like to get close to your opponents.

Yes, quite fun. Only question here would be can this be activated with Yang State? And do these boosts stack with each other?

You can, but its counterintuitive, highest one is preferred so they don't stack, no.

(Yoton: Yamata no Orochi) Yang Release: 8 Branched Giant Snake

Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 50/70 for Yin-Yang chakra
Damage: 100/120 w/ Elemental or Yin-Yang chakra
Description: This technique sees the creation of the mythical serpent, the Yamata no Orochi. The user begins by gathering their Yang chakra into their arms and creating three branching streams of white chakra from each of them as well as coating both arms in chakra. The user’s arms and streams of chakra will take the form of serpents with flaming amber eyes. Due to the nature of this technique utilizing one’s Yang chakra, these serpents are not simple manifestations of chakra, but actual sentient creatures. The serpents can sense entities like ordinary snakes and they share a telepathic link to the user, allowing them to communicate with each other. They act like chakra arms and can be used for a variety of purposes. In the base form of this technique, the 8 branches are simple ethereal constructs of sentient Yang chakra. In their second form, users can add nature release to the branches to increase their power, including AE and CE the user knows. In their third and final form, the user can add Yin Release chakra and give the branches physical bodies. The addition of the Yin Release also gives the branches unique venom which drains the physical vitality of the victim. The bite from each snake lowers a victim’s physical speed, reaction, and ability to use high ranked physical techniques.
Note: Form 1 is usable by all users of Yang Release, Form 2 is usable by Yang Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users. Form 3, also known as Yin-Yang Release: Yamata no Orochi is only usable by Yin-Yang Users.
Note: The vitality degenerating venom is capable by all branches of this technique, however there is only enough for 3 usages. The vitality degeneration venom becomes worse with every bite. If a victim is bitten once their base reaction/tracking is reduced by half, twice and their base speed and physical damage is reduced by half, and thrice they will lose the ability to use any form of tai or kenjutsu techniques and will be rendered completely paralyzed 2 turns after the third bite if not healed. The victim will be unable to do anything short of breathing, including using their chakra. Users bitten once also become incapable of using physical elevating techniques such as Sage Mode or EIG.
Note: Medical ninja or other Yang Release users can rid themselves of the poison through means of medical techniques or vitality boosting techniques such as power of the sun.
Note: Technique can only be used once per battle and requires 30 chakra points to maintain (40 above the first form). While this technique is in use, the user cannot use any non-elemental ninjutsu, Yin Release, or Yin-Yang techniques (other than this technique’s advanced variation).

Break down this bad boi.

The user coats his arms with yang chakra creating sentient yang snakes. They share telepathy connection with the user. The serpents from what I understand are attached to the user's arms. There are three forms of this technique, of which I can only use the first two.

First form: The snakes are ethereal constructs and can be used to bite the opponent.
Second form: Increases the base damage and chakra output by adding elemental nature to the snakes.
Third form: Physical bodies by adding Yin chakra (which I'm around 10k kumi away from, two weeks and I'll hit you up for that xD)
Third form also grants venom which drains the physical vitality of the victim.

Later it states the venom can be used by all forms.

Ok so questions:

How do the bites work? Do they count as a jutsu per turn? Except the poison, does the opponent take the 120 damage? Also, I assume only one bite per turn right?

Sorry I didn't get into much depth here but I'm at work and I'm trying to understand the technique rather than give perfect explanation.
