if statements like these were made by another powerful character, lets say by one of the three top Espada, then him being the strongest might be possible (though he showed nothing to back it up).

but, he never showed anything to back it up and a statement from the character itself saying how strong he is isn't enough.

Ichigo's GT barely put a scratch on Yammy's neck and neck is one of the weakest points on the body. Speed is not a problem, Yammy was able to catch Ichigo, one of the fastest character in series.

What "wut"?? Nnoitra is stronger than Neliel. Base Neliel was easily overpowered by Base Nnoitra. Ressurection Neliel put a decent fight against Nnoitra, but Base Nnoitra, not Ressurection Nnoitra.

Nnoitra improved a lot, since Nel was tercera and not just that but Espada during HM arc was a lot stronger than Espada during Nel's time.
