I feel like Suigetsus gotta stop being paired up in VS threads. I guess by anime feats Yamato has more under his belt, I remember that episode where he drowned someone in the earth...it was pretty f*cked.

I'm pretty sure this anime jutsu where he sunk the enemy into the ground would work. I gotta go find it now.

But the only real weakness Kishi has ever given Sui other than Lightning Style is "Suigetsu becomes trapped when put into a container of some sort. Yamato is one of the best ninja I can think of who can trap an enemy. Yamato wins this.

to note: both characters have suiton feats go to naruto wikia and search yamato and find out. Yamato's suiton feats are increased as well, it's not me giving an unfair advantage, both can utilize the lake

Yamato if he tries really hard can finish it quickly. He can terraform the lake like he did in Naruto's training or turn it into a marsh and then it's HIS playing field. You can sink a marsh. And all the water in it.

EDIT: It's called Wood Release: Tree Bind Flourishing Burial. The fact is, forget the tree- he can pull down things into the ground. It usually takes time to set up but with water already in the arena it can be done almost instantly.

this guy knows what his talking about, I wish we can take anime feats into a VS thread, if so yamato would be a boss. Honestly looking at his anime feats idk why he wouldnt be able to do them

Yamato doesn't stand a chance here. Not when Suigetsu can merge with a lake.

Yamato mid-high diff.

While he may not be able to damage Suigetsu due to his KKG, but Yamato can suppress him at most. Yamato has an element advantage over Suigetsu which is Doton > Suiton. Even if Suigetsu merges with water, Yamato shown can split the earth into half for his needs. Doing the same thing to Suigetsu and trapping him inside.

May give people some insight, Yamato at the start of the match is unknowing of Hydrification, he almost catches Kisame here despite him knowing Mangetsu/Hydrification Abilities

Yamato's wood gives him a big advantage over Suigetsu.

All Yamato has to do is jail him in an earth dome like he did to Hebi Sasuke.
