I doubt Yamato could take on Sasuke, even without his MS. Sasuke has greater speed, and his chidori easily countered that wood element tech he used. Doesn't matter what he claimed, if he had got serious Sasuke (then) could have used curse seal and now can use MS.

Shodaime defeated Madara Uchiha even if he had the EMS. Yamato has Shodai's genes so I can assume he can stand a chance against Uchiha. I know he isn't at Shodai's level but Sasuke isn't at Madara's level too.

atm we have seen sasuke to be more powerful cause of the fights hes had.

bit like the kakashi thread i feel sasuke would beat him 2 given kakashi hasnt really beat anyone with out backup.

but atleast we seen yamamoto beat some 1 in the filler episodes with sora. the earth element guy.

I always say that noone can predict which shinobi will win.its kishi's privilagiation.theoticaly neji was stronger then kisame but as we all saw he and his team could barely defeat kisame's 15% clone...

that's true.I agree.he got serious only one time.in sora arc when killed that guy with steal body but that was never written in manga so..YES we have never seen him getting serious!

I'm not sure how a fight between them would go down. We've never really seen Yamato fight (in a hardcore one on one fight) before. He can use Earth,water,wood, and can control biju but that's about it.
Sasuke has MS, lightning, and fire.
It would be close though.

why is neji stronger than kisame theoretically, we cant really judge kisame when we havent seen his full power, yes neji is strong but kisame is a legendary swordsman, probably the greatest water element user in the present shinobi world and he yields samehada, kisame aint no pushover, neji has the byakugan and gentle fist but not nearly the same amount of chakra as kisame, he would have to get close enough to use his gentle fist too, which would b difficult seeing that kisame has samehada and the sword returns to him by itself

also (sorry if this seems to be repeating itself) Shortly after his birth, Yamato was one of 60 infants that became test subjects of Orochimaru. neji can dodge everything by his rotation and drain chakra out of kisame with his 64 strikes.so theoritically kisame's huge chakra container means nothing and neji is supperior...but in a real fight kisame kicked team 10's asses

neji doesnt drain chakra, he just stops the flow of chakra through the body, samehada on the other hand drains chakra which mean that neji's heavenly spin would get eaten up by samehada, if im wrong correct me though
