location - where team 10 fought kakuzu and hidan ( where asuma died )

Intent - kill

restrictions none -

knowledge- Gaara know his arsenal resolves around wood release. Yamato know that gaaras arsenal is basically sand attacks

Starting distance - 30 meters

I think Yamato can take this high diff, maybe near death due to the overwhelming of gaaras sand. thoughts?

Tsunade, MEi, now gaara... Hmm.. I'm starting to see a pattern here woodson. Are you trying to take out each kage? :snick:

I'd give this to gaara. Yamato isn't ready for this yet. Gaara can sit in the sky and fight him with sand directly above his head and under his feat. Yea, sure, yamato can make an entire forest, but gaara canonically turned a savanah and a nearby forest into a dessert, so... That's not too useful. I'm going for gaara, mid diff.

Honestly, Gaara(especially with shukaku) and yamato have pretty identical move sets :/

Exactly my point at BOLD.

Anyways regarding Gaara sitting in the sky you forget the fact that yamato has shown to which means this will basically be a battle in the air.

Gaara would honestly stomp. mid diff would be the closest

How bout you since you seem to be taking the underdog

I personally see this ending by yamato restraining gaara and suppressing gaara with his chakra via mukoton and ending it with mukoton spikes. Also regarding gaaras defense, speed is not needed here as seeing he can merge into the ground which mean merging under gaara.

That's true. This could probably go either way, and just end up being a battle of attrition which yamato might win seeing as he's a pseudo hashirama and all. I'll wait till the arguments pop up, if i'm not asleep yet. It's really late Zzz

Can Yamato suppress other chakra if its not bijuu chakra? And does Gaara have Shukaku? I'll admit it could be closer depending on the situation regardless ill say Gaara wins but I'd like to know the conditions so I can explain better if you know what I mean bro

regardless of a battle or argument, knowledge is always the greatest weapon.......unless you have sexy Justu

Actually he has ways around sand coffin. Yamato already displayed that he can produce mukoton from his and produce mukoton spikes from his . Being capable of producing large amounts of mukoton from his body seems to be a reliable counter to sand coffin in terms of potentially destroying it or setting himself free. If that doesnt work he can always perform attack prevention technique which allows him to merge into the ground or any other surface that is physical[ ] he can potentially merge into the ground thus freeing himself from the sand.

Sand coffin completely envelopes the opponent [ ]. What you're showing me is, Yamato emitting wood from his body parts; not at all saving him from complete body coverage. Then if he miraculously breaks out, via the means you just stated, Yamato can immediately get buried 200 meters under.. [ ]

And I'm not quite sure how Yamato plans on merging with the ground when he is being bound by sand.. You'd need to elaborate more on how he gets the chance on doing so.

Hmm, I feel inclined in saying part one Gaara even takes this. So I'll just use his part one feats only, unless I feel it's necessary to use his current.

Theres a few flaws in your argument.

First off the sand coffin coverage is not instant

Those two scans above clearly show the coffin jutsu taking its time to totally cover the enemy. In that time yamato can easily emit wood from his body and free himself. We already saw how by massive size can break the coffin when we saw gamabunta break it. The coffin isnt holding together against massive mukoton.

Sorry but yamato isnt getting buried underground. When he starts to get buried he can easily create a and have it freeing him from the sand doom or better yet the clone isnt even necessary since yamato can perform the jutsu himself. Mukoton is also a counter to the sand burial since he can easily sprint up wood from beneath him and free himself. He has too many counters to the sand burial honestly.

Part one gaara? No sorry.
