Yamato Underrated

I highly think Yamato is the most underrated character in the whole series, after years of people raping Hashirama's dead body and cells, and people dying to have his ability of wood release Yamato becomes the first successful user.

This dude wasn't shown or revealed until part 2, shows little role and hardly fights. The funny part is, he played no role in the war at all.

Hashirama was a legend for being the first and only user of wood release. The release being so strong Madara has to bite the dude to get it.

No, Sasuke momentarily paralyzed him. Earth element is weak against Raiton, as we witnessed against Deidara, it could make all jutsu quite useless. Wood is a combination of earth and water.

Regardless, Yamato was still able to counter and pressured Sasuke to use a jutsu that Orochimaru felt was completely uncalled for.

He's character is being shitted on tbh, Yamato should have been much stronger then spiral zetsu since he is a human. But the plot denies Yamato being relevant, like most underrated characters

I agree with you. He should have been OP, Kishi could have at least given him some kind of fight against Kabuto.

That's your opinion. The fact remains, Yamato countered and nearly trapped him, remember their intent was to capture. Sasuke seemed to have no other option in dealing with the matter.
