Yamato the key to defeating ten tails

What was really the point to capture Yamato and put him there. Kabuto states it was to amplify the zetsu army. But they were easily defeated. They didn't show any different abilities. My point is, it didn't do anything for the story so far. The reason I say so far is because I believe kishi has plans for yamato in some way. Do u, or do u not believe that Yamato being put into the statue with all those 1sts cells will not make him stronger? We also know that wood style beats out all tailed beast

Now Yamato would somehow have to escape the statue, that is highly unlikely on his own because Obito put him in a genjutsu so I guess someone has to go save him now the only person left there is Anko Mitarashi she is in the same cave as Yamato she isn't dead and she is no longer being detained by Kabuto.

I could see him showing up to help...but Naruto is deffinatly the key....Kabuto will probably realize his mistakes, and proceed to help Anko back on her feet and pull out Yamato....then Team Screwed Over by Orochimaru will go try and help the alliance....maybee Kabuto's redemption act....he'd probably die. If not it is back to the orphanage!

If anything they use Yamato against Madara or to restrain the Juubi when it is knocked down!

this sounds even better than mine but anko getting up n pulling a more powerful yamto sounds more likely

reason my post states that the statue he has been placed in (which is a clone of hashirama) increases the strength of his wood style(power up) Please read post before commenting

Is this a joke? Yamato claimed that without the first Hokages necklace, he wouldn't even be capable of stopping a non fully transformed Naruto.. This is the second transformation of the Juubi and you expect Yamato to stop him? I doubt the first had a wood style strong enough and a chakra level large enough to with hold the Juubi.

Imo Yamato was merely a plot device during the beginning of Shippuden to suppress the raging spirit of the Kyuubi whenever it goes berserk. He has served his purpose.
