Yamato might get rescued sooner than we think. The reason why i say this is because well the masked guy and kabuto are the only ones who know where he is and luckily naruto has finally clashed with the masked guy and i reckon that the masked guy might deliberately let slip to naruto that he's using yamato to power up the zetsu clones and if you remember, while naruto was inside the giant turtles shell naruto was curious about what's happened with yamato and i know that yamato isn't a big character but i don't believe yamatos role is over! and so i believe that during his battle with the masked guy he might send a clone to the hideout and rescue him and the only way that i believe he'll get rescued is by naruto and if he's still alive the naruto clone will most likely take him to get healed by sakura where yamato will probably see a zetsu clone that has been enhanced, yamato will ask sakura what is she doing with the zetsu and she'll probably tell him that he was used to help make a zetsu army powered by his abilities he got from the 1sts dna and that also the masked guy is now immortal thanks to the 1sts dna that he stole and yamato would probably ask the naruto clone where's the real naruto and the clone will tell him that he and killerbee are battling the masked guy and his six paths and yamato would probbly get the naruto clone to take him to where naruto and the masked guy is and help fight against him because then yamato who has the firsts abilities thanks to orochimaru can help fight against the maked guy who most likely has mokuton as well plus sharingan and rinnegan.

i never liked him. he always acted all high-like, like in the fillers, he was always folding his arms and doing that cool-guy look down while talking thing. he's the male sakura in my opinion

the only way he will not die is if itachi does something to save him and if he does it will be indirect i dont think itachi will save him just to save him but he might pull him out to stop the clones although i think the clones are all done now

Maybe, it's hard to say what will happen with him. It is pretty amazing that not one known character has died unless you count Samui being sucked into the crimson gourd as dying. Even if you consider that, she's still only a background character. If a known character needs to die I'm still voting on Tenten. Hope Yamato lives, we'll have to wait and see though.
