Yes but that is not what Kabuto was talking about, he put Yamato in to that Hashirama wall to feed the zetsu.

pretty clear, yamato being spiral zetsu will give way to his meeting with orochimaru and kabuto AND obito, the guys who ruined his life pretty much Lol

plus orochimaru giving spiral zetsu a curse mark symbolizes that whoever is inside of spiral is connected to orochi

Kabuto just powered up the white Zetsu army.If you read the manga at some point you will see that when he did that the body of the zetsus change a little grew spikes or something like that i don't exactly remember.And what the curse mark has to do with Yamato?Some curse mark jutsus can work on anyone.And even if it has to do something with dna it certainly hasn't anything to do with Yamatrochimaru experimented with Hashiramas dna, even his own body is almost completely made out of it.Spiral Zetsu was created by Hashiramas dna so a wood style related curse mark would work on him directly without needing him to fuse with Yamato or anyone else.
