I know this is really old but i just watched the new anime and it showed yamato getting captured i was sad and reading the manga and seeing how its going i hope yamato does get out cause he played such a huge part in shippuden and became one of those lovable characters

He's most likely going to get out, but they have to focus on taking down Madara and the rest of the Edo Tensei summons before they can worry about rescuing him.

ACTually he plays no part at all anymore .. he was only around to supress naruto's kyuubi chakra .. and now that he has control theres technicallyy no need for him .......
with that being said it does suck that hes gone, somebody else should die
