And this is why, I ALWAYS wait for your replies on threads like these. +Reps my good sir.

OT: Blaze Release pwned you. Good day.

Why do you have such a hard-on for that dude? It's strange. And creepy.

My good sir, I'm sure you've seen how Yamato can magically make wood appear from the ground...allow me to tell you that he can impale that misty bastard.

thank you.

btw: he can also impale more than 20 bastards.

okay.. how does he know what part of the ground he has to make a tree grow, if he doesn't know what part of the floor zabuza is standing

Ok, yamato can defence himself

but he cant touch zabuza....

And there's no way that yamato can beat 20 ninjas with just a kunai in his mouth (i'm no calling this a feat, it just a proof of what zabuza can do when he's angry)

Zabuza didn't kill 20 ninja with a kunai in his mouth. He killed 20 normal dudes, who were bitches to a smaller dude. Wooooow..... IMPRESSIVE!

Hey, Y U SO MAD?!

Isn't Zabuza that dude who got his ass handed to him in every episode he was shown in? It is the one guy who dot wrecked by 2 genin, right?

Tell me again, how does he beat one of the higher-ups in the ANBU, who also has Mokutan when he can't handle a couple of children?

Well Yamato is the First Hokage's copy and the First Hokage was really really strong. Wood Release would protect Yamato and he would be able to like trap Zabuza in a wood release technique and beat him XD

You haven't given one shred of evidence that Zabuza could beat Yamato. You are flat out wrong with that "killed 29 ninja with kunai in mouth" argument. Those weren't ninja Those were a bunch of sissy, normal gangsters. Nothing more. Any 5 year old ninja wouldn't break a sweat with those guys.

You also flat out REFUSE to accept the fact that Yamato is very talented, and powerful. He graduated at a very early age, and join ANBU at a young age. As far as the Jonin in the show go, Yamato is right up there with Kakashi, IMO. I know he has a lot of respect for Kakashi, since he was his superior in ANBU, but that doesn't make Yamato any less impressive.

Also, when 99% of the people think Yamato wins, AND they have arguments why, I don't see how you can be so astonished. You keep calling us the dumb ones... Doesn't it make a little bit more sense that you may be the dumb one, since not one person agrees with you?

Just sayin'.

he creates a wood clone, hides underground (tunneling technique) and when Zabuza slices up his clone he emerges and...you do the math...

People freaking underrestimate Zabuza. He was a monster who slaughtered a whole group of academy graduates before even receiving any ninja training.

He was also the one who was powerful enough to try an assassination of Mizukage (which was Tobi or Madara at this time).

Zabuza was most likely low kage level or little lower.

Yet people claim he is fodder? OWNED BY TWO GENIN, seriously? He was arrogant, that's true, and didn't take them seriously really.

After they managed to force him into freeing Kakashi he got serious and was about to 1-hit-KO Naruto and most likely Sasuke just after that, if Kakashi hadn't stopped him. I didn't think this is even questionable.

Yamato without any Sharingan would have very hard time countering Zabuza's attacks, who was a master of silent killing. If Yamato got hit even once, it would probably be game over. Creating a mizu bunshin or two would just decrease Yamato's chances of survival even more.

Oh, you also had to stoop so low as to insult everyone. Calling us geeks for being on a Naruto site that you're ALSO on.

Since you had to resort to that, it is very obvious that you're getting frustrated, and that you're not even mature enough to have a simple debate. You don't flat out insult people who have different opinions than you do. That's pathetic. Who do you think feels worse; the people enjoying their time on NarutoBase, or the guy who can't even have an actual debate without getting so pissed off that he starts calling people childish names? I'd rather kick it with the dude enjoying his time here.

What makes you think you're any better than us? Or that you know anything about us? You don't. We may very well be geeks with nothing better to do, but how in the **** would you know that? We could also be right, millionaire playboys. Either way, it's irrelevant. The fact that you had to start calling people childish names is proof that you have no good arguments left, and that you're far too immature, and unintelligent to either continue the debate, or to end it like, "Okay, you have different opinions than me. Fair enough, but I still believe Zabuza wins.".

I mean, why do you care if anyone agrees with you? It's your opinions. And you're damn-well entitled to it. Just like we're entitled to our opinion that Yamato wrecks his face in. Nobody ACTUALLY knows who would win, because Kishi never made them fight. Someday, he may. Then you reserve the right to come back here, and gloat like crazy. I'll admit defeat.

Hey, I agree with you, 100%. When I say that he got owned by 2 genin, I am doing it ironically. The original poster couldn't come up with ANY reasons to support his theory, so he just started saying random, nonsensical shit. So, I did the same. Of course I know he isn't weaker than 2 genins.

I do agree, Zabuza is a beast. He is one of my favorite characters. And he has more sack than anyone else in the show. He's a bad mother****er.

I do still think Yamato takes this. People underestimate Yamato as much as he does himself. He doesn't think highly of himself, since he knows he's just a "copy", but that's just low self-esteem. We have seen how good the guy is, time and time again. He's also incredibly well-rounded. He can play brute force, and defence. Mokuton is a VERY op ability, even if you're not Hashirama. It just serves every purpose imaginable, and Yamato is very skilled with it.

I think that if it came down to a bare-knuckle brawl, both just going all in, I believe Yamato wins. Zabuza is hot-headed, and I think he would lose his cool fairly quickly. Yamato, on the other hand, is very calm, patient, and intelligent. That, paired with the wide variety of Wood jutsu, puts Yamato ahead.

Again, this is just my opinion. I'm not telling anybody their opinion is wrong. I will point out when they say something that is false, though. Like saying Zabuza took out 20 shinobi with just a kunai in his mouth. They weren't shinobi. Just normal, run of the mill dudes.

No, I didn't insult you. I honestly assumed you were just trolling at first. But I see that you're not, now. But you still can't just have a normal debate with anyone, can you? Why do you have to start calling names? Most people will think it's because you're backed into a corner, with nothing left.

Like I said, I am 100% open to have a debate with you for as long as you like. But if you're going to start insulting me like that, you can go talk to yourself in the mirror.

Above, I gave some of the reasons I think Yamato wins. Why don't you ACTUALLY read that, then take some time to think about it, then come back and post why you think I might be wrong, and your opinion. If you can do that without getting so angry, and calling names, I'd love to have this conversation with you. One more insult, though, I will report the thread, and abandon ship.

ok people under estimate yamato... but he hasn't shown nothing in the show... nothing at all... zabuza was defeated ... yes he was, he was defeated by kakashi... yamato was defeated by no ms sasuke easy dif.

sorry for insulting you.. i'm aa stupid.. i apologyse, but seriously you haven't shown any proof of why yamato wins

i read the arguments you gave... zabuza could easy dodge wood, plus yamato couldn't even point de wood at him because zabuiza is invicible..

besydes zabuza's water > yamato's (we have only seen a waterfall jutsu from yamato)

Zabuza is quite intelligent. He was able to analyze Sharingan very well. He also came up with good counter for it, that is - casting mist so intense that not even Sharingan can see through it, and then moving using hearing only.

Again, this is just my opinion. I'm not telling anybody their opinion is wrong. I will point out when they say something that is false, though. Like saying Zabuza took out 20 shinobi with just a kunai in his mouth. They weren't shinobi. Just normal, run of the mill dudes.

Again, Zabuza killed a whole group of fresh genin before even receiving any ninja training! That's really something.

And though I agree the guys you're talking about weren't shinobi, it is still a feat to do what Zabuza did. After all, Kakashi himself said that without much chakra left it won't be easy to take them out.

As I said, if Zabuza uses mist, Yamato has no Sharingan to see through it. And since Zabuza is a master of silent killing, first hit landed will probably kill Yamato. In other words, one mistake and Yamato is dead. Using mizu bunshin will further help Zabuza.

Lol first of all yamato has Wood style you think zabuza can defeat that? Zavuza uses water style and hes sword (ninjutsu and tools) and mist wont do much as a smart person said he could just use hes wood style to defend himself. Plus zabuzas sword cant cut through tons of wood attacking him and water style will be funny since earth and water becomes wood......

I don't think he'll need to attack. Once the mist starts, he could erect a very thick, sturdy encampment that I doubt Zabuza will be able to get through easily, and, if he did get through it, it would give away his location. Hasirama made a dome strong enough to reflect a Bijuu Dama, so I don't think it would be difficult for Yamato to make one that could withstand Zabuza's swords, or make it difficult, at the very least.

I don't think Zabuza's mist or silent killing will actually work on him. I guess he could just leave, and not have to worry about it, but he wouldn't be able to get to Yamato without giving away his location.

And yes, Zabuza's water is superior to Yamato's, but that's all Zabuza has. Yamato's water isn't too shabby, and his earth release is impressive. All of that paired with all the skills that come with being in the ANBU make him a force to be reckoned with.

I did not say Zabuza was stupid. Not at all. I know he isn't. But he is VERY hot-tempered, and easy to anger. Yamato, on the other hand, has no problem keeping his composure, so he's not one to make a silly mistake in the heat of the moment.

I will admit that I don't think it is as close as I originally did, because all your points are valid, but I still believe Yamato takes it. High difficulty, though.

And they do have the same stats in the databook, so speculation wont mean much. Peoples' opinions are going to come down to which character they like more, regardless of the logic. That's just normal.

But I was underestimating Zabuza, at first. I was a little tunnel-visioned with his part in Part 1, and the power creep has been insane since then. I really wish that Zabuza could have played a more prominent role in Part 2, so we could see what he is really capable of. It would've been awesome if he survived his bout with Kakashi, and kinda went off on his own. Not necessarily evil, but not good, either. Just self-serving, with an awesome rivalry with Kakashi.

In conclusion, I believe that it is very, VERY close, but I still put my money on Yamato. The ability to erect large, thick, sturdy structures in an instant, paired with his experience in the ANBU makes him a very dangeous opponent for Zabuza
