You need the power of Senju and Uchiha to control the Juubi and Mokuton isn't whats controlling the Juubi, its reinforcing Madara and Obito's control over it. Not to mention Obito and Madara's Mokuton>Yamato's Mokuton most likely since they are Uchiha who gained Mokuton.
