Yamato? a joke?

i have all ways wonder why yamato is at times a joke his the only person who has been able to fully fused with hashirama DNA and hasn't become a freak and yet some times i feel like his at the level of the leaf 11 not all just neji and lee to me and allot of other yamato should easily be in the top 5 living ninjas and should be in the top 15 ever to me his the second coming of the 1st yet seems like he failing a in the potential power orochimaru gave to him as a baby even if he doesn't have the chakra level of the 1st he still should be able to beat people like itachi,kakashi,kisame, and others with mid difficulty

i know he got caught trying to save gai but still

i think that you are right. he is is the only one that is able to fully fuse with hashirama's dna and it seems that he isn't all that skilled. he should at least be an s-class ninja but i can't even say that he is that.

I think that he is probably a jonin level ninja, he cant really do S-rank stuff, like take on the Akatsuki. His main role in the show was to suppress the ninetails in Naruto and now that Naruto has mastered it he can probably just die. I do like him and I hope he doesn't.

He can be fused with his DNA all he wants but he can't create a forest or use it on the level of Hashirama. He still has a long way to go before he can actually master it. He's no joke though. He is pretty helpful.

This^^^ I agree he is more than a stones throw away from Hashirama's level but he has been very helpful on more than one occasion.
