Yahiko being a good alternative

We know that while Nagato and Naruto both were the Children of Prophecy, it's obvious that the Chosen One was more aimed at being Naruto.

That being, if it wasn't for Naruto being the preferred Chosen One, other than Nagato,would Yahiko have been a good alternative? If anyone feels like this is a stupid question, I will agree but I ask this mainly because of my because of my Yahiko fanboy (fanboy explanation: Yahiko was the Tendo Pein's body and Tendo Pein is my fave character after Nagato and Naruto but Nagato I like more. Another reason is that Yahiko is the only person to call Obito's bluff on Obito being Madara upon being introduced to Obito) and because Yahiko had a Naruto-like person-ality.


Also, do you think with the above, Naruto would look cooler as an adult looking like Yahiko or Minato? While Minato basically what Naruto would be like physically as an adult, I'd love to Naruto have the Yahiko persona.

Yeah, i think he would have made an excellent or better option, since he was a wise young man. But he was introduced way too late and he was already dead when he was introduced lol

Yeah yahiko would have been able to fit naruto's role quite well. He had that same drive that naruto & obito have.
