Well, he was fighting erratically because he was being swarmed.
He had to do some quick moves if he was gonna take them out.
He wasn't afraid of 4-tailed Naruto because Naruto, in that state, is a dumb beast.
He can easily outsmart him and escape him, so he wasn't worried.
Also, those moves wouldn't matter against Naruto in 4-tails because his chakra armor is heavy as hell, and VERY hard to penetrate.
