Y dont they just SWAP???

Im just wondering why brothers in the Uchiha Clan like Sasuke:sasuke: & Itachi:itachi: dont just SWAP EYEBALLS so they can BOTH awaken the EMS without the other going blind??

*take brothers eye.
*eat your own eyes.
*Have unlimitedpower.

Well since Itachi was dying and Sasuke wanted to kill him, the situation didn't really allow that. As for Madara and Izuna, Madara's eyes were already completely sealed and Izuna was dying from Tobirama's attack

i always believed ur eyes needed to merge in order to gain EMS this is why swapping didnt happen

Apparently the Uchiha never thought this through....but also, only Madara and Sasuke have the EMS from what we know, and at that point, there was no way for the brothers to both live. Izuna was morally wounded and Itachi was already dying.

I guess that's why. The other MS Uchiha apparently decides to not read the.lovely tips.
