I really love Xmas time,
But to be frank; commercialism is wrong.
I hate all the hustle,
But simply adore the Xmas songs.
I hate the traffic, the packed up towns;
But Iove the decor and lights.
I despise the frozen roads and ice storms,
But 'am nuts about cuddling on cold winter nights.
I hate Grinch and him stealing Xmas,
But hey; he did give it back.
I hate the frost that bites my nose;
But it's okay, I named it Jack.
I hate all these re-runs of Home Alone;
Yet I watch 'em again and again.
And I love to write these holiday poems,
They're a Xmas gift to you and my pen.
But to be frank; commercialism is wrong.
I hate all the hustle,
But simply adore the Xmas songs.
I hate the traffic, the packed up towns;
But Iove the decor and lights.
I despise the frozen roads and ice storms,
But 'am nuts about cuddling on cold winter nights.
I hate Grinch and him stealing Xmas,
But hey; he did give it back.
I hate the frost that bites my nose;
But it's okay, I named it Jack.
I hate all these re-runs of Home Alone;
Yet I watch 'em again and again.
And I love to write these holiday poems,
They're a Xmas gift to you and my pen.
