Hi guys. So, I have this 1080p movie in my computer, but I wanted to watch it on my TV. As I don't have a notebook or a laptop, and putting my computer in the room is not an option, I decided to use my xbox 360. However, I don't have wi-fi, so I decided to put the movie(already in the correct format) in a pen drive(already in FAT 32 so the xbox can read it).

My TV is also 1080p, and I have a HDMI cable/wire connecting the xbox and the TV. The xbox settings are already set to match the TV.

So, I put the pen drive on the xbox, and I used the video player of the xbox. The movie opened. However, when it started, it was lagging: the image was slow, and the sound was clearly ahead of the image.

This makes it impossible to watch the movie. Does anyone know how to fix this, if there is a way?

Thanks for the attention.

Are you sure it is not a problem with the movie itself?
it seems like your setup is fine. I watch 1080p movies from my flash-drives all the time with no issue.

Your setup is fine. Your movie is in the correct format. & you are using a HDMI (the only way to use 1080p on xbox).
So the only thing I can think of is the movie itself.

If it's not that, then I'm not sure :'(

It most likely is because of the movie. Try watching on ur PC, if it lags too, then its the movie. Otherwise, did you try throwing the Xbox 360 through the window saying PS4 FO LIFE?

The movie runs perfectly on the PC. And it's the second time this happens(I tried once with a different movie and the same thing happened, then I just watched it on my PC)
And no, I can't afford a PS4. It costs 2000 dolars in here.

Is the movie .AVI or .MP4 format?

Even if it is, I sometimes have trouble watching movies with a flash drive because of the audio codec.
It's .AVI.
