XAT chat for NB?

Anyone ever heard of XAT chats?
It's a really cool chat that has many powers, like;

1. Owner (Has power over everyone else, can re-rank/kick/ban/rename/etc. at will)
2. Admin/Co-owner (Has aforementioned powers over everyone below them.)
3. Moderator (Can kick/ban/unban people beneath them)
4. Member (No power over anyone below them. They are the standard chatters )
5. Guest (No power whatsoever.)

I think that it would a really cool idea.
And if someone abuses of it, he can be banned in the chatbox, so there isn't any risk of spam.
Anyone agree? :shrug:

well it's not needed in our community...........

there's already admin that looks upon the community.

moderators to look whether someone is disobeying the rules or spamming and can infract or ban a user

we have chatterbox to chatter and visitor message to talk ,private message to discuss private stuffs.

Moderators can easily ban a user if they disobey or break the rules.so i think it's not needed.

Sending PM's would work in the same way I would say, and if you really want to chat with someone, you could always add them on messenger or so...

well i guess even the admins/mods won't agree with these if they do than that's good for you but creating a separate chatting section would be burden for mods . members on NB would be only only to chat. RPG system would be completely stopped because most of member would busy chatting with each other... if these was to happen than what would be the difference between us and Facebook or any other chatting sites.

Then people will stop posting and we will miss out on alot. I hate missing something. I would rather read through the pages and see where I left off.

Putting a chat inside a forum that is open for everyone is like putting a free all-you-can-eat buffet inside an expensive restaurant. Not a good idea. People will stop posting on the forum and only use the chat to communicate.

Adding to Mugiwaras reply i'll state also that it has been suggested many times before. Its not a priority of the community right now. Thank you for the suggestion though.
