Nakumaru, if you somehow manage to win this debate, you're like the best debater ever.

You're a major underdog here.

Haha I know xD but Kank honestly has a few things that can counter Itachi.

I'll be posting my opening argument momentarily.

Ill accept your restrictions! you begin haha

I think you should make it sick Itachi to give Kankuro a fair chance.

It is sick itachi lol

[nakumaru]

This is just my basic opening argument.

Following post will include scans, DB pages, and links

------

Kankurou is a puppet master of the hidden Sand villiage. He's commonly known for his trickery and ver strategic approach in battle. While I admit I'm at the disadvantage here, Kank has the ability to open up victory against Itachi.

Due to Itachi bein sick, he almost always avoids using MS unless absolutely necceaary. This makes it highly unlikely that Susano'O will come out due to its massive chakra drain and Itachi not having reserves to spare. Itachi prefers to fight in base to and without MS to limit chakra drain. He mainly focuses on Taijutsu and Genutsu due to there minimal chakra drainage. Here lies Kankuro's chance a victory.

Kankurou, being a puppet user a avoids direct combat. He can keep his distance with a multitude of puppets and with his knowledge he can deduce that he shouldn't look into Itachi's eyes from the fax that he has knowledge of Sasuke Uchiha and the far that the Uchiha were talented in Genjutsu. This is aided by the fact that he doesn't fight directly, minimizing chances of eye contact.

Puppets will also be hard to deal with, Genjutsu being non effective against them and being dosed in poison makes them ideal for combat against Itachi. Will Itachi fends of one if the puppets, crow can use poison gas to catch Itachi off guard and poison Itachi. Mix that with his sickness and Itachi's body will begin to fail him. Itachi will also have a hard time fighting multiple puppets at once that all have fatal attacks from poison.

Kankurou will also keep at least one puppet near him, given that Itachi has shown to use MS lightly in his battles, there is a chance of Amaterasu. Kankurou can use this puppet as a fail safe against Amaterasu. Given Itachi's chakra reserves he wouldn't risk using it more than once.

Itachi's Fire style can be countered by the Sasori puppets flamethrower.

When Itachi finally decides that he will need to use Susano'O, Kankurou will be well prepared and have a puppet laced ndergrond ready to capture Itachi (like sai's brother).

------

This is a real down and dirty argument since I'm on an iPod and can't refine it ATM.

[Filo]

Due to Itachi's illness he will not take any time playing around with Kankuro. He will not waste time on his puppets when he must get to Kankuro to ensure defeat. Itachi activates 3 tomoe sharingan to see the chakra strings and find the source of them. Avoiding as many puppets as possible itachi uses his advaned skill with shuriken to try to immobilize puppets by hitting their strings. Itachi has no blind spots and can hit targets with ease so the numbers disadvantage won't effect him. Once puppets are immobilized or avoided Itachi will engage Kankuro in direct taijutsu waiting for the right moment to glare into Kankuro's eyes

[Nazgul]

Considering Chiyo and Sakura can dodge almost everything Sasori can throw at them, what is stopping a superior ninja with greater speed as well as a 3T sharingan from doing the same vs an inferior oponent?

This is just a stomp......

Dude, that's ABC logic. Which doesn't work for Naruto.

I'll be posting my reply later jackel, I'm about to head to work

Are we allowed to post our own arguments?

It doesnt always work, but it can logically be applied to certain scenarios when things are comparable between A B and C - for example fighting style of Sasori and Konkuro and the Evasion skills between Itachi Sakura and Chiyo.

However this isn't my debate therefore I dont think I should get further involved. If you win though, it would be pretty epic

Itachi won't be able to run by the puppets. They will stay on top of him attacking. Meaning even if he gets near Kanurou he'll still he fighting the puppets. Even then, Kanurou could trick Itachi and have him attack a puppet like here

Kankurou has can set traps in the ground like

And try to lure Itachi over to it.

Also, even if Itachi manages to break the strings, Kankurou noted that's vey easy to reconnect them. Even as a kid.
