As Cole is flying he sees a mangled metalic structure sticking out of the ground.
Oh god no...
Cole flies and lands in front of the structure. He sees the S.H.I.E.L.D. symbol cracked in half on the side of the large structure.
How... how could he... this was my home...
Cole enters through a hole in the wall and walked to the lab.

Cole searches through test tubes until he finds a purpleish liquidy substance.
Thank God.
He than walks to the main computer and takes as much working parts out of it as he can, including the data storage for the info on all heroes and villains ever collected by S.H.I.E.L.D.
Lets see what i can make with this.

Cole starts making a few improvements to his suit. He then plugs the data into the suit. He opens the helmet of the suit and starts tinkering with the insides.
Ok lets see if i can bring M.I.L.E.S to life.

Cole puts his helmet and suit back on.
M.I.L.E.S. activate.
Maximum Intelligence and Life Emulating System activated, hello Cole.
Hey M.I.L.E.S. I need you to pull up all knowledge on Axel in the S.H.I.E.L.D. database.
Entry 1: Axel, mutant, has the power to control all diferent types of plasma and has found an ability to clone himself still unbeknownst to S.H.I.E.L.D. He is also a clone of a mutant in the X-Men academy. He has shown to be very dangerous especially after the disappearance of our top agent Cole.

Entry 2: Axel has been conquering different parts of the world. We try to fight back but he is proving as strong as Vandal Savage if not stronger. We still have no sightings of Cole and no clue how to control this. Someone help us.

Entry 3: Axel has taken over most of the world. We cant stop him.

Entry 4: We are launching every branch of S.W.O.R.D., S.H.I.E.L.D., etc. We must win for the sake of humanity. Fury out.
Cole looks to the ceiling of the mangled helicarrier.

Iris arrives back at the academy to see what she can fine

*Looks over the city that is now in shambles and simply laughs*

"The poor fools let it get this bad huh..."

*Vandal signals to one of the three cloaked figures behind him*

"Gene, come with me. I think its time we join the party"

Cole walks to his room, hoping his suits would be something he can salvage. He walks in and sees almost everything completely destroyed.
Figures... All of my suits and hard work... gone... God damn you Axel.

*walks through the empty torn down halls of the old x-men academy and a slight feeling of nostalgia begins to creep up his spine*

*Sidenote: I actually do feel some nostalgia. I cant believe we have been doing the X-men threads for nearly 2 years running now. Dem feels man... Dem feels*

Axel turn as he was walking out of his office to find Dante, when he notices that S.H.E.L.D had been breached.

He really believe that anything from shield can help him

As He begin to leave, something else caught his eye. He walks over to his screen as it show Larry walking through the X-men academy.

Now this came be troublesome. I must go there before they realise he is here

Well Scorn, I may need you after all. Fury did tell me to keep you safe, thank god you survived the destruction.
(Wow its been two years. Geez time flies when youre having fun.)

"You see, I started this group years ago apparently. I gathered mutants who had the ideals of the X-Men but the ruthlessness of the Brotherhood. We would help X-Men on missions as well as working on our own missions. Now that my ragtag group is gone, I need to rebuild it. Our goal, currently anyway, is to take out this new dictator in any way possible."

*Dante continues to walk running his fingers along the broken buildings, his boots shattering already broken glass.*
