Nathan shakes his head

"Are you sure your it's not your imagination?"

"Just listen......" Ciel gets really quiet. At first nothing could be heard but then the soft sound of something crackling and the smell of something appalling could be smelled.

 

[Akatsukii]

Nathan hears the sound

".....Hm?"

Then the smell

"What is that horrific odor?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

Burning flesh... Ciel's symbiote chimes in.

 

[Akatsukii]

"Why would someone be burning their own flesh?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

Ciel scoffs. "They aren't burning THEIR OWN flesh...."

 

[Akatsukii]

Nathan seems rather confused

"So whos flesh are they burning?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

Guess. Kaliko mumbles.
Ciel sighs and puts her hood on over her head as a few civilians approach.

 

[Akatsukii]

"Mabye they will know...Excuse me who is burning flesh here?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

One of the people looks at Nathan and looks a bit confused before saying, "Oh! You mean the burning of th impure ones."

 

[Akatsukii]

"Impure ones? What do you mean?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

Ciel says telepathically to Lucas, They mean mutants....

 

[Akatsukii]

Nathan unknowingly blurts out

"They're....killing mutants? Why,what did they do?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

Ciel facepalms and mumbles something practically inaudible.
The man arches an eyebrow. "What do you mean 'what did they do?'"

 

[Akatsukii]

"Not all mutants are bad...why are you killing them?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

"It's what has to be done." he answers coldly.
Ciel clenches her fists tightly and bites her bottom lip while remaining silent.

 

[Akatsukii]

Nathan appears to be bit angry but tries to conceal it

"What if the mutants had been the majority and they were killing you humans claiming it had to be done,what then?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

"It would never happ-" The man is cut off by the sound of a glass window shattering into a bunch of shards.

 

[Akatsukii]

Nathan looks to the direction of the sound

"What was that?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

"Sounds like broken glass..." he says.
