I would say that it is a massive improvement over the CGI in the last trailers.

Seriously, I have no idea what's going on anymore. How does this new timeline work? Where is Wolverine now? Wasn't he stuck in the past? If not, what version is this? Is this Origins version again? At what moment in the new timeline does this happen? What previous events are we to account and what we should ignore? What's the state of the already established characters? What's with Charles? Is he still paralyzed? What's with Magneto? Is he a good guy or a bad guy here?

Wolverine is most likely following somewhat of his Origins version since he has adamantium which means he went through Project-X . The past version has no idea about what happened with Raven and teaming up with Charles, Hank and Magneto. The future version's mind was returned back to whatever future happened at the end of the movie. This past Current version of Wolverine will one day wake up and have all those memories of what happened.

We account for First Class and the past events of Days of future past. X-men, X2, Last Stand and the the bad future in Days of Future Past have all been erased. Young Charles still remembers it because he looked into the mind of his Older self.

Wherever their past versions left off in Days of Future past. The past is the new timeline waiting to be continued.

Last we saw of him was when he flew away at the end of the Past story line of Days of Future Past. He apparently teams up with Apocalypse so probably a bad guy.

They rebooted the universe essentially.

The Past Wolverine in DoFP had not yet gone through ProjectX, he still had bone claws. I am sure stryker found a way to get to him somehow. We have no idea what version we see of Wolverine in the trailer but I am sure some time has gone by since the events of the past of DoFP so there was enough time to go through the experiment.

The Wolverine of the future in DoFP has ceased to exist because the whole timeline got changed.

it seems like it will be boring because the trailer doesn't end with Spiderman having Captain America's shield
