Kaia slowly stops crying and just rests in Dante's arms.

*Cedric, who had taken a short trip to Rome on some business, was alerted of the attack on the Venetian Academy. Getting back as quickly as he could, Cedric is greeted by an Academy in ruins. He runs around, trying to assess the situation and find anyone*

X Students! *using his communicator* ANYONE?! Give me a sitrep! *panicking as he makes his way to Cerebro*

*Skarlet hearing the situation responds to Cedric.*

"Cedric, I'm here at ground zero with Kaia, Grayson and Dante."

*Dante hugs Kaia more.*

*Skarlet walks up to Dante and Kaia.*

"Sorry to break up the moment here but we should inform Cedric on what's happened."

*Dante looks up at Skarlet.*

"Your right. I'm Dante. Dante Fullbuster."

*Dante extends his hand. His trench coat is flying in the wind.*

*Skarlet shakes Dante's hand. Her own trench coat is flapping in the wind.*

*Moe holds onto Larry and after a while cries herself to sleep*

Savage: *lays moe down and teleports to where he had placed ben and looks at him in the symbiote* All right you can wake up now. *removes the symbiote off of Ben and he slowly starts to regain consciousness*

"I did some research on your history and pulled your file from the school. We were both born in Puerto Rico. Both mutants. And both had terrible pasts. Of course what mutant doesn't though. Although you had it way worse then me. Maybe later we can have cerebro do a DNA test on the both of us."

*Dante walks with Kaia and Skarlet over to Cedric's location.*

*Cedric responds to Skarlet*

Thanks, Skarlet. I'll be there immediately *triangulates her location using the communicator*

...wait, Grayson? ... DANTE?! What's he doing there?

*Cedric jets over to where most of the surviving X Students are. On his way, he sees the paths of destruction laid by Savage and his accomplices. He stops for a moment to find a young girl and boy, their eyes open, but devoid of life. Cedric kneels beside them both, seeing them holding hands... they were most likely good friends, and Italian X Students. He has a moment of silence, before he slowly closes their eyes, giving them final rest*

Requiescat in Pace. *Cedric looks away, almost unable to bear the guilt and burden of so many losses*

*Cedric flies towards Skarlet and her group*

*Ben opens his eyes and looks at Larry*

Ben: IS MOE OKAY?!?! What happened?! Why am I alive!? *He hugs Larry*

Gizelo: -she hears Cedric's voice from the X Communicator. Gizelo isn't sure what has happened but can take a guess. She quickly enters the academy seeing mess of the destruction. Looking around for any of the students to catch her up about what just happened. Joss who is now standing by her heard about it. He shakes his head looking from Gizelo to the destruction-
"I should have checked..." -he places his hand on her shoulder. Gizelo doesn't feel the touch just shocked for it's the second time this has happened. To students who weren't part it. She walks to one of the students. A girl who has short brown hair, her eyes closed. Gizelo was about to touch her but Joss grabbed her hand- "your not ready. We haven't tested it yet.."
-Gizelo doesn't nod but gets up obeying him. She continues walking trying not to look at the corpses layed on the ground as Joss follows her behind-

Kaia, are you alright? *squats next to her, he realizes what happened. He leans against his trident, feeling weak*

...of all the times, why now? WHY NOW?! *anger and sadness begin to fill him with guilt*

Moe: Ben... *She sits up and runs around the house looking for him*
