Kaia makes the orb expand and raises it up into the air, looking like it's taking the place of the sun. "Almost..."

*Dante hears what Halcyon and Chase say and walks over to them with Ben.*

"What did you say about Moe?! She isn't like Larry, nothing like him!"

*Dante gets in front of Ben, expecting his powers to be turned off.*

"I don't even need my powers to fight. I don't rely on them."

Halcyon looks down, this guy was making a mistake, just because he steps in front doesn't mean she can't turn Ben's powers off too, so she turns dante's ben's moe's and eli's powers off. A
Halcyon: I too can fight without my powers.. i don't even have any apart from this... To a normal person I'm normal anyway, I have no flashy powers like lightfields or dark fields or anything like that.Mutants were always after me because I was a threat to them so my sister taught me how to fight. And now you don't have a symdiole...sym..sym..symbiole? You're a fodder. I think that's the word...right Chase? That's what you said...
Chase stands in front of Halcyon facing Dante, he had a smirk on his face. Halcyon starts feeling down as she remembers her sister, and her harsh training, and the lectures about life and that it didn't matter if she was a kid, and that she didn't receive love and comfort despite being hunted down for her powers. The only time she felt safe was when Xavier took her in when she was 8
Chase:...She killed didn't she? She agreed to kill didn't she? If she had deep in her heart killing is wrong, specially for a 9 year old, she wouldn't have killed.
Halcyon starts to tear up.
Chase: You made the kid cry, how old are you by the way, Halcyon?
Halcyon sniffles a little bit more because Dante was scaring her and so was everyone staring at her
Halcyon: I'm 11 turning 12...
Chase pats Halcyons head

( I MEAN LIKE THE EGYPT ACADEMY WON'T ACCEPT US IF THEY DON'T SEE WHAT WE COULD DO... THE EGYPT ACADEMY IS TOUGH PLACE TO SURVIVE IN SO YOU AT LEAST KNOW HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF)

*Moe hears what Halcyon and Chase are saying*

*she starts to back away*

*Ben sees her*

Ben: Princess... *he walks over to her and picks her up right as the symbiote puts up a symbiotic force field almost like Moe's actual fields*

Ben: It's okay I got you. They won't hurt you I promise. Give her fields back please *he kisses her forehead trying to make her feel safe instead of scared again*

Moe: My-my- where's my- *sniff* my dragon...... *she starts to cry*

Halcyon: No matter what you do, no matter where you run once I focus my powers on you... you won't get them back.
Her voice was meek and quiet
Halcyon: I'm trying to protect everyone. they've been talking about her, you know. One of my friends' sibling was one of the people she killed. She was nice to me.
Halcyon looked down and her lips started to quiver.
Halcyon:... I'm mad but I know she's just a kid. I'm a kid too.
Chase sighs and looks at Halcyon.
Chase: Halcyon is afraid of Moe, look at her and look at Moe... Halcyon is defenceless compared to Moe, she has no other power. How can you blame the kid for taking away what she thinks is scary.
Chase snickers at them and smiles down at Halcyon.
Chase: It'll be ok. Do you want to return Moe's powers?
Halcyon shakes her head vigorously
Halcyon: she might kill me
Halcyon replies in a small, shaking voice.

I'm defenseless against Moe too. She can see me when I'm invisible. I promise that she won't kill you. She's nine years old please.

*He puts the crying Moe down and walks toward Halcyon. He squats to her hight and wipes a tear from her cheek*

Ben: Please give Moe her fields back sweetie. *He pushes a piece of hair from her face to behind her ear*

Kaia watches as her lightning merges with the sun as she stands back up. "Now I just wait and see..." She dusts some sand off and starts to wander around.

"Where is the Egyptian acedemy located anyway?" Kaia asks herself as she continues wandering.

*Dante stares intently at Chase, referring to Larry and Chase's meeting with him.*

"So DON'T push me. You better watch that she doesn't either. Cause I don't care if she's 2, if she's 12 or if she's 50. You DO NOT insult Moe, you DO NOT insult me and you DO NOT make 9 year olds cry! I don't care if I'm scaring her right now, but she insulted me and Moe!"

Kaia walks around and tries to find the Egyptian Academy. "It can't be that hard to find..... Can it?"

*Eliphalet starts to cry and he runs to Ben.*

*Eliphalet points at Halcyon.*

*Eliphalet starts to cry more.*

*Ben picks up Eli*

Ben: Its okay buddy I got you. You will be able to play with your shadow in a second, right Halcyon?

*Dante looks at Moe then back at Chase and Halcyon.*

"To think she's scary, of ALL people. Moe?!"

*Dante attempts to calm himself down.*

*Ben picks up Eli*

Ben: Its okay buddy I got you. You will be able to play with your shadow in a second, right Halcyon?



*Ben puts his free hand on Dante's shoulder then walks over and sits down with Eli and Moe trying to get them to stop crying*

*He starts to sing to them in a soothing voice*

*Eliphalet looks at Ben and nods.*

"O......oka.....okay."

*Eliphalet stops crying a bit as Ben sings.*

*Ben puts Eli on one leg as Moe puts her head down on the other still crying a bit*

*he continues to sing and flicks Eli softly on the nose*

Kaia knocks on the door but there is no answer. She knocks harder. Still no answer. Kaia decides to just walk in but sees the place is empty so she calls out, "Is anyone here?" She can hear her voice echo down the hall.

*Ben picks up Eli*

Ben: Its okay buddy I got you. You will be able to play with your shadow in a second, right Halcyon?



*Ben puts his free hand on Dante's shoulder then walks over and sits down with Eli and Moe trying to get them to stop crying*

*He starts to sing to them in a soothing voice*

*Dante looks at Ben.*

"Calm them down. I need to calm down myself."

*Dante attempts to pull off a fake laugh but fails. He looks at Halcyon and Chase. Dante sits himself down in front of both of them.*

"Ok, let's try this differently. Halcyon is it? I'm sorry I scared you. I just have a short temper."

*Dante laughs and rubs the back of his neck.*

"I just got worked up that your scared of Moe. She isn't gonna hurt you, I promise. I cross my heart and hope to die. I'm sorry again I scared you. Do you forgive me?"

*Dante sticks his hand out for a shake. He gives a sincere smile and looks at Halcyon.*

"Truce Halcyon? I truly am sorry."

*Ben puts Eli on one leg as Moe puts her head down on the other still crying a bit*

*he continues to sing and flicks Eli softly on the nose*

*Elphalet giggles and looks at Moe. He looks back up at Ben.*

"What did they mean when they said Moe killed people?"

*Eliphalet tries to make a shadow dragon but can't. He pats Moe on the head.*

"It's ok Moe."
