An amazing wrestler who had to end his career because of MRI scans that if he didn't take them he could have ended up in a wheelchair.

After 19 years of service, one of the greatest wrestlers and an amazing era of Edge (Adam Copeland) has come to an end today (April/11/2011)

Thank you Edge for all the service you have done for the WWE and it`s most treasured prize, the FANS.

Well, the announcement shocked me this morning when I saw it

(there's a full detail of his injury there). Even though, he's not one of my favorite, he's an amazing wrestler who really devoted himself to wrestling ever since 6 years old. He gave the biggest Ladder matches in history for me and sadly, he got to retire prematurely. One of the most original, most unpredictable and best heel in WWE (ironically, he is ending his career as babyface).

I know, some may not like him but you gotta give him respect for his work and 11 World championships. His reason to retire really saddens me as it's so severe. Good luck in your future endeavors, Adam!

Yeah its fake on who wins and the "grudges" along with the punches and some of the hits. But nearly everything else they do isn't as in the slams and most of the finishers.

Adam (Edge) is one of my all time favorites of the WWE. As he said...* years ago he had to go for neck surgery and ever since he was competing on borrowed time. It sucks he is going out like this but at the same time he ended his career with an exclamation point.....his last match was the World Heavy Weight Championship match at Wrestlemania, and he won retaining his belt.

The man won every possible championship he could, which is something Noboy else has ever done in the WWE.

I for one hate the fact I will never get to see him at a live event lol

Adam Copeland a.k.a. EDGE, is a sure fire shot into the WWE Hall of Fame for his achievements, and his years of service, I predict he will be in the Hall of Fame before Wrestlemania 28

i mind when he was in the tag team with christian they were a hoot the match at wrestlemania 2000 was great with the hardys and the dudleys. i mind the poses they did for the benifit of those with flash photography. still edge was good when he turn heel in his single carear.

This was really sad when I found out it was legit. Next to Jericho and Christian, Edge was my third top fav.

Edge's awesomenss will forever remain with us.

Only positive thing is that Christian may win his first WHC.
