This as also crossed my mind. I think Kishi is contradicting himself. If Sage Naruto had senjutsu chakra infused with rasengan than Preta Path should have been turned into a frog.

However an explanation can be that maybe there wasn't enough senjutu chakra infused with rasengan to turn him into a frog?

the previous attack landed on Jubito was also carried out using FTG...
but, he defended by turning Ninjutsu's into nothing...
so, thus he could also escape it if this attack's also ninjutsu...

If Naruto makes jutsus in sage mode, than they are senjutsu. If he does the same jutsu (rasengan and rasenshuriken for example) in Kurama bijou modes, than it is ninjutsu.

This means a Sage mode rasengan will work and a Kurama bijou mode rasengan will not work on Obito.

Actually you are not factoring in the amount: A basic jutsu most likely does not contain large amounts of chakra to cause significant transformation before dissipating ...... Not to mention ur wrong in the basics it self: the Nature energy causes the tranformation, but in Senjutsu chakra the nature energy is already molded with physical and spiritual energy into a different thing.

Note how the Preta path did not suffer any effects when he absorbed SM the first time but was petrified when Naruto began gathering Natural energy (unbalanced) afresh .....

Conclusion: Already molded and perfectly balanced Senjutsu Chakra does not cause any effects but Natural energy does.

Your also forgetting that Obito in his arrogance wld overlook the fact that there might be power that might hurt him ....... even I wld confidant that a regular looking Rasengan wont hurt me at all if a Amaterasu + RS combo didnt hurt me.
