Why did Laxus take down tempesta in the ft anime and not gray
The fight wasn't that good too whatever tempesta did they just made laxus somehow overcome it even though he was poisoned this is the kinda thing they do in an erza fight I really didn't like this I mean the dude had ANTI MAGIC BARRIER PARTICLES in him and if I'm right they're supposed to also stop u from using magic hence the ANTI MAGIC in the name but yet laxus is still using shitloads of magic

The Laxus vs. Tempester rematch was actually content cut from the manga by Hiro Mashima. To those of you who complain about fillers, just be grateful that the fillers in the Tartaros arc are actually good, unlike the 3 filler arcs that FT has had so far.

That's not a filler.Hiro left out some story so that he can finish the arc in manga.so they took the story to animate it for fans..
I loved it....because he is the strongest fighter of FT(below gildarts though).........

Laxus vs Tempesta was one of the first fights in this arc. That they later on finish it is pretty logical and I think was given more than a decent amount of screen time in this arc.

I just watched that Tempasta fight. It was actually well done. I honestly though Laxus was badly hurt. He showed nice herculean strength to come out of this. I don't think I have seen any fighter show as much resilience in a fight.

Yeah, but since the start of season 2, the animation was shit. All they do, is blast some attack, and for some reason the background disappears like when Ash is throwing a poke ball. Then, the guy is dying of exhaustion, then he isn't, then he is, then he isn't, then he is, again. There is rarely as much fluid/dynamic fight scenes as there used to be.

I really love Fairy Tail but the fights are annoying me now.
